Easily the most competitive division in baseball, it is the only one with 4 teams with a legitimate chance. The Nationals are currently on top and I like them to win and I'll talk about why. Here's about where I see them finishing
Washington 91-71 0 GB
Florida 88-74 3 GB
Atlanta 82-80 9 GB
Philadelphia 73-89 18 GB
New York 69-93 22 GB
Nationals: I like them because they're not the most talented but the most complete team in the league. They aren't stacked with power hitters but they get timely hitting which is all you need when you have great pitching. They really need Vidro back because I don't see Johnson and Church hitting quite as well in the 2nd half. The only thing that worries me is their starting pitching past Hernandez/Loaiza/Patterson. Drese is either gonna be a huge bust or a huge steal and they should probably look for a more reliable starter than Tony Armas. They have easily the best closer in the division which is why they've continuously won 1-run games, if Cordero pitches this well the second half I think they'll be in the playoffs.
Marlins: Easily most talented team in the division but they have alot of guys not playing up to potential. If Juan Pierre and Mike Lowell start playing like they have previous years I like them over the Nationals. Their rotation is solid but they need to figure out their bullpen situation, if they're gonna trade Jones or make Mota the closer or get a closer or what. Their bullpen and inconsistent hitting is why I ahve them in 2nd.
Braves: Had to happen eventually. They simply can't compete when 6 of their 9 starters were in AAA last year, even though they all have great potential they're too young. They should get better when Chipper gets back and Furcal decides he wants to be a leadoff hitter. And their bullpen is a joke. Dan Kolb should probably die.
Phillies: lol
Mets: The team with the worst manager in baseball will always finish last in their division. Call me when Willie Randolph moves their hitter with the highest OPS out of the #7 hole.
