In a new WWE.com video clip, SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long tells Muhammad Hassan that although he's not welcome on SmackDown, he can feel free to go to RAW. The full transcript of the worked promo is below:

"For the past month, Muhammad Hassan has been at the center of a media firestorm. From CNN to USA Today, headlines are all talking about Muhammad Hassan's controversial mission to become the world champion. At the Great American Bash, Muhammad Hassan said that if he did not defeat the Undertaker and become the number one contender, that he would never again appear on SmackDown. We all saw what happened at the Great American Bash. Mr. Hassan is a beaten man - physically and emotionally, with all of his injuries. Now, Mr. Hassan, if you're thinking about coming back to SmackDown...we don't want you, playa. You can go to RAW, or you could go anywhere else on this planet, but as far as I'm concerned, you can go to hell!"

This is what I figured they'd do with him. Although he could have made a bigger impact on Smackdown.

Hopefully they'll send him to RAW, but knowing the WWE, they'll just release him.

What about Daivari though? I'm certain he's not taken off TV, is he?

I imagine Dalvari would go with Hassan, just like he did when Hassan got drafted. No one ever mentioned Dalvari did they?He just appeared with Hassan.

I am glad this has happened, atleast i can picture Hassan as WWE champ.Batista needs better competition.

Yeah, it sounds like good news, put good old pessimnism suggests that he'll never come back.

Still though :y:

Hassan back on Raw can only be a good thing. Except for the fact that he lost to Cena in a squash match before leaving. How can he make a good challenger then?

I meant sometime in the future, not right away.

Maybe this was all part of HHH's plan to come back as a face? Y'know, by going up against Hassan? I call conspiracy!

well...I hope this means they are going to use Hassan again. I hope he returns to Raw because wrestling isnt the same with out his interruptions now...

Would be funny as hell if they waited a while...then brought him back and he returned to a face pop.

It would be silly after GAB for Hassan to return so soon, but then you know WWE's logic.

This still means Smackdown got screwed out of one superstar in the draft. Meaning Raw got 5, Smackdown got 4. I hope Smackdown will get a replacement but I doubt it.

^^ prolly... He's more controversial than Hassan tho... he furthers the stereotype that all black guys are really Haitian voodoo demons...

But Hassan on TV can only be a good thing.

I hope this means that he is coming back to RAW.

I can't wait to hear him talk about how the UPN execs proved him right, how they are all discriminators. All this media controversy can be turned into a huge positive. The WWE needs to be really careful how they handle this situation, but they could have a huge draw on their hands.

Hassan isn't fired. The WWE loves controversy. Heck, they probably fanned the flames on purpose just to keep the controversy alive. If you need any proof, notice that they continued the terrorist gimmick by slamming the media, everybody's favorite whipping boy. And then continued the gimmick at GAB. The WWE would never let go of a guy that is getting them free publicity in the mainstream press ... outside of Hogan's reality show on VH1.

No publicity is bad publicity, after all.

Fuck Yes

He's definately going to Raw. They wouldn't post that on WWE.com if they had no plans for him to go. They would just want people to forget about him.

well, at least I hope :-\

Yeah, Hassan is one of the freshest up-and-comers in the WWE, but he is a better RAW fit, since his character gets him more over than his in-ring talent (not to say that he doesn't have any in-ring talent).

Brock Lesner is a better fit for SmackDown. His talent is what gets him over more, and he is already a well-established star there, something SD needs.

Personally, I was somewhat confused on why they moved Hassan to SD in the first place.

So much for my dream of seeing Muhammad Hassan as United States Champion...

But still, this is good news. Better news would be if WWE didn't cave to the pressure in the first place, but I'll take this over another lengthy OVW stint for Magnus any day.

I'm waiting for the day we hear ALEEEYEEEEELEEEAAAAA right in the middle of the Carlito's Cabana segment. I know alot of people want him to become WWE champ, or at least challenge for it, but that'd kill Jericho's push yet again.

I don't understand why Teddy would tell Hassan to go to hell. WHY? What did he do, exactly? Nothing.

Well, nothing to deserve going to hell, anyway.

The attacks on Undertaker trying to choke him out are something he did wrong. Plus, he's Arab American, so Theodore Long is probably racist. ;)

When this whole thing started with UPN, I was thinking of ways I'd mark out for a Hassan return to RAW. Then it hit me. Tell me what you think, it's unrealistic, but I would absolutely love to see this happen:

John Cena is cutting a promo after defeating Chris Jericho at Summerslam (let's be honest, the WWE aren't going to put Y2J over). Then when Cena is about to drop the "The Champ is Here!" line...AAAAAYIAAAAAA! RAW/Cena has just been Hassan'd! Muhammad comes out and says the injuries he sustained at The Great American Bash would put any American outfor a few months, but they couldn't stop "The Great" Muhammad Hassan! He cuts loose on Cena saying John ended his undefeated streak, and Hassan's true battle is with him over the WWE Championship. At Unforgiven the match is signed, John Cena vs. Muhammad Hassan.

In the coming weeks, Hassan's lackeys attack Cena left and right, constantly getting the better of him. At Unforgiven we see the match go in Cena's favour, until the lackeys get involved. The lackeys are the same guys as last time, except the main one with the chicken-wire isn't present, presumingly still out from The Undertaker's Tombstone. His role is taken up by a masked Daivari. During the match, we also see the other heels on RAW spill out on Bischoff's orders to make sure he loses. The other faces on RAW spill out to counteract these forces. Eventually it is Val Venis who takes out the masked lackeys with a steel chair. He is standing in the ring with the fallen "terrorists" and a groggy Muhammad Hassan and John Cena. He looks at the chair, then at the fans, then he waffles Cena with it, busting him open. Venis then takes out some chicken-wire as Jerry Lawler and Jonathan Coachman seem shocked to find out that Val Venis was the guy who got Tombstoned by The Undertaker at The Great American Bash. Venis chokes Cena until the referee comes to. Muhammad Hassan covers, 1-2-3. MUHAMMAD HASSAN IS THE NEW WWE CHAMPION!!!!!!

The next night on RAW, we are gifted with the presence of Muhammad Hassan. Cena comes out and cuts a promo about how he has a guaranteed rematch with Hassan. Muhammad corrects Cena and says that he is guaranteed a rematch only witht he man who defeated him for the title. Hassan tells Cena that that little problem has been solved. See Hassan is no longer WWE Champion. "Helloooooooo Ladies!" Val Venis comes out wearing the WWE Championship over his towel, the WWE symbol in the middle replaced with two giant "V"s. Venis just chuckles at Cena before saying "Hellooooooooo *insert town name here*" to which he would likely receive heaps of heat. Venis then goes serious and says he is sick and tired of flavours of the month coming in and overtaking him, and putting him on the backburner. He says only one rookie sought out guidence from Val Venis, and that was Muhammad Hassan. Hassan reminded me of what it was like to be proud of one's heritage, and to not hide it behind a veil. Venis says Hassan has taught him to be proud of his Canadian heritage, and that he will no longer be announced as being from "Las Vegas, Nevada". This would be even better if the WWE were actually in Nevada or Las Vegas for RAW.

Anyway, Cena says this little screwjob Hassan and Venis are pulling isn't possible unless they had permission from management to switch the title. Cena realises immediately who has helped Hassan and Venis before he even finishes. "I'm Back" hits and out comes Eric Bischoff laughing and smiling. Bischoff puts his hand on Venis' shoulder, and announces that as payment for getting the title off Cena, Val Venis has been rewarded with creative control. "Chief Morely" is back. Morely says his first act as Chief of Staff, is to announce a Handicap Steel Cage Match. John Cena vs. the heels of RAW. His second act is to announce that Muhammad Hassan will challenge Shelton Benjamin for the WWE Intercontinental Championship tonight (Benjamin wins the title at Summerslam with help from Rob Van Dam).

Anyway, Cena somehow manages to pull off the impossible and beats the heels in the Steel Cage Match, which leads to Cena chasing Venis for the WWE Championship. Hassan beats Benjamin by DQ when Cena runs in and assaults Hassan. The Chief makes an announcement that it was a stipulation of the match that if Benjamin got DQ'd, the title would change hands. Thus Muhammad Hassan is the NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion. We then see tension between Shelton Benjamin and John Cena.

Kurt Angle turns face for a night to challenge Val Venis for the title. The two put on a good match, finally giving Venis a chance to shine in the ring. Venis beats Angle cleanly with the Venis Flytrap earning him a submission. Morely then goes on to beat Shelton Benjamin and Hulk Hogan in title matches. Then Cena finally gets his shot, and beats Venis. This is cut short again by Hassan who reveals before each title defense, Val Venis forfeited the belt to Muhammad Hassan, bumping up their title reigns to four for Val Venis and five for Muhammad Hassan.

Cena then begins his chase for Hassan, but realises that it is hopeless and they'll just switch the belts and Cena has literally no chance of ever being WWE Champion again. "No Chance" ironically hits and out comes Vince McMahon who says thsi is bullshit and it is demeaning to the WWE Championship. At Survivor Series, John Cena will face Val Venis and Muhammad Hassan in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship, and we'll finally see some honour restored to this belt. To make things more even, Hassan defends the IC Championship earlier that night against Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin wins the IC Title for the third time, and Cena pins Val Venis in the main event. John Cena is a two-time WWE Champion.

The biggest flaw with this idea is that it completely shatters the credibility of the WWE Title, which people will no doubt get upset about, but I think that can be ignored. This wouldn't be too damaging to the title, and it makes Val Venis and Muhammad Hassan multiple time WWE Champions, something that will really help Muhammad Hassan, and something Val Venis deserves. When I play things out in my head, there's nothing insulting about the idea of hearing Val Venis being called a four-time WWE Champion by Jim Ross.

It would be something interesting that hasn't been done before. It creates a top heel in Val Venis, gives Muhammad Hassan some title reigns, and it allows Val Venis to become a credible talent again, without going through the long and tiring process of completely destroying his gimmick. Porn star Venis still remains, but he's now evil, and the slimeball "Chief Morely" character is infused into it. It is the evolution of the Val Venis character that has been a long-time coming.
