Besides Alice in Chains and Nirvana, did anyone else have their Unplugged shows released as an album? More specifically, Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam. Also, if there are other albums, anyone know where I can get them(besides downloading, I would rather have the original album if possible).

Thanks

STP and Pearl Jam didn't. Eric Clapton did and won album of the year with it. The last two Unplugged releases were Jay-Z and Dashboard Confessional.

The torrent for the Pearl Jam one is pretty easy to find, though its not the greatest recording (or performance....it's ok).

Never going to happen probably after the whole "Liam throws fit and leaves Noel to sing everything and then heckles him from the balcony" fiasco.

It's not really all that great of a performance either in truth :meh:

I own the Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton Unplugged albums. Both are pretty good if you want to mellow out.

I had a bootleg radiohead Unplugged cd. It moved out with the ex however. Pisses me off as she bought that cd along with a bootleg of Radiohead Glastonbury 1997 for my birthday and she moved out with them. :(

I refuse to Rosk.

The Lauryn Hill one is utter dogwank. Don't touch it.

I thought it was pretty good but did miss Liam. I actually have the CD. My brother must have downloaded it.

Jay-Z Unplugged is awesome. Dashboard was entertaining enough, but a little too long.

I loved the Oasis one because I like Noel's voice so much better then Liams. Like 10x better.

For acoustic songs, Noel's voice is probably better suited.

MTV will revive the series when Alicia Keys' Unplugged special airs on MTV on September 23 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_23), 2005 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005). It will be the first 'Unplugged' for Alicia and the first for MTV in nearly three years. Special guests for the performance include Mos Def (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mos_Def), Common (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common), Damian Marley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damian_Marley) and Maroon 5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maroon_5)'s Adam Levine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Levine). The show is scheduled to be released on CD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD) and DVD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD) in October (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October) 2005 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005).

Interesting. I wonder if they will keep the series going again?

Noel's voice is good and yeah probably better for acoustic stuff but Oasis wouldn't be Oasis without Liam's vocals or indeed Liam as a whole.

Packt up, do you own the Bootleg of Radioheads OK Computer MTV show? It was a non-accoustic performance. I forgot that my ex moved out with that cd as well. I loved it because it contained a live version of "Let Down" which I don't believe they perform very often.

I don't think so :$ I don't have many live non-acoustic shows really. And yeah Let Down is hardly ever played live, even more so now probably like once a tour at most.
