RAW is coming home to USA
A “Night of Champions” is scheduled for Monday Night RAW’s homecoming to the USA Network on Oct. 3.
Many former WWE Champions will be making their return to RAW on Oct. 3, including Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Triple H. Even Mr. McMahon himself will make an appearance.
All of this is in addition to current WWE Champion John Cena and former WWE Champions Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Kurt Angle and Ric Flair being a part of the historic, star-studded evening.
RAW flourished during its seven-year run on USA network, establishing cable rating records as WWE fans flocked to the television each and every Monday night. And it’s happening all over again, so don’t miss RAW on Oct. 3 for this televised homecoming.
Stay tuned to WWE.com as more information on RAW's move to USA becomes available.

Sweet. It's tight that WWE is going back to USA, but that doesn't mean that their ratings will magically rise all of a sudden to the point like they used to be on USA. New channel, same ratings. But still cool that it's back on USA. :y:

I really wish that WWE progaming would say more about the switch for the internetless fans out there (yes, all 3 of them). Seriously, I want to hear JR, The Coach, or Jerry say something like "They're chanting USA? Not for another few weeks. This is still Spike."

Holy shit! Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H (not realy a huge surprise, but oh well), Mick Foley and Hulk Hogan on the same show. What would be so awesome if if they could line up some surprise guests like The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Vadar.

I really want to see Lesnar and Foley go to SmackDown!. I really want to see a Mick Foley vs. Simon Dean feud. ;)

I suppose if SmackDown! is going down the drain, Lesnar and Foleyw ould be better suited to RAW. God knows they need the names.

Writer 1: "Ok, here's a way to boost the ratings. Have stars have yesteryear come back and wrestle occassionally"
Writer 2: "We've been doing that all year, and it hasn't been working. We've brought back Hogan, Marty Janetty, Roddy Piper, Bob Orton and so on."
Writer 1: "But this time we'll give it a catchy title like The Night of Champions"
Writer 2: "Well, I'm sold :D"

if Hogan is gonna show up, anyone want to put a guess on how many times the word "Brother" will be used??

""match idea"" Hogan's Daughter vs Victoria(or)Torrie Wilson it would be hillarious as hell

Maybe they're not allowed to advertise The USA Network on Spike.

Okay, so what will they do NEXT Raw, when they can't afford to bring back their hasbeens...

They'll be forced to rely on their never-will-be's.....

Kane Knight

Too bad they're only never-will-be's because the hasbeens squash them.

That and the fact that they absolutely suck in the ring.

He's a gonna-be-whether-you-like-it-or-not

No.

They're gonna TRY and make him whether we like him or not. They can't get him a reaction playing him against the most over guy on Raw, what chance do we have when he starts feuding with someone of lesser caliber?

They'll keep pushing him, but he won't be unless the fans get behind him.

Here's how I want to see the first Raw on USA start....

JR: Bahgawfstunner, this is good ol' JR, and I'm about to have a heart attack!

Jerry: And I'm Jerry "The Perv" Lawler, and we are BACK on the USA Network! Puppies!

Coach: And I'm--

Kinda funny how HHH is now considered a Legend. Glad to see Austin and Foley though. Hogan again? I guess he needs to plug in the new season. HHH a legend? Ask yourself this: Would HHH still be in the lime light if he wasnt bangin the boss's daughter? Who knows.

id like to see all the sd guys show up and cause hell. that would be interesting

What Would Kevin Do?
09-09-2005, 12:29 PM
If WWE was smart (Which they aren't.) They would have Bob and Randy Orton in the crowd. Not in the front row, maybe second or third. Have the announcers refuse to recognize him, but have a few wrestlers notice him, maybe HHH says something, yadda yadda....

End of show, RKO's all around. I think it's work, especially since Hogan, Austin, Foley, and even McMahon have no "contracts" they could actually go to Smackdown and try to get revenge.

Just had the same thought!

On the 'HHH=Legend' subject...it's the Night of Champions, so HHH does have a place there, it doesn't neccessarily make him a legend!
