View Full Version : Bought any movies lately?
The wife and I were at Blockbuster tonight and saw they had a 2 for $12 on previewed dvds, so we decided to pick one each. There wasn't much good ones to choose from, but she got Sleepover and I got Starsky and Hutch.
This was the first time we've purchased movies in maybe 2 months, so I found it pretty exciting. :-\

2 for $12? - Fuck me, that's a good price. Here it's 2 for $24. That's almost twice as much.
Disclaimer, I know it's exactly twice as much

I bought Dead and Breakfast on Friday. It is a horror comedy, and I love it. I highly reccommend it. It has David Carradine and Diedrich Bader in small roles.

I was thinking of picking this up. You really think it's worth it? In terms of a horror comedy, what other movies would you compare it to?

I definitely think it is worth it. The thing is, I can't really compare it to other movies. It's narrator is a country singer who sings and raps about the events. The lead zombie uses a head as a sock puppet. That kind of shows you what we are dealing with, here.
