Halloween is my favorite season because of all the movies on TV and shit leading up to it. On AMC they play Halloween like 2,3,4 like all the time. But what movies do you like watching around halloween.

Halloween 1 & 2 and the original Texas Chainsaw are a must for me. Aside from that I try to make the whole month a horror month. So far I've watched:

The Amityville Horror (2005 remake)
High Tension
The Thing (John Carpenter)
The Fall of the House of Usher
An American Werewolf in London

Coming up:
Spoorloos (The Vanishing)
The Hitcher
The Howling
Old-school Dracula movies
Old-school Frankenstein movies
Nosferatu
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Prolly some random Freddy movies
Prolly some random Jason movies
The Shining
The Exorcist
The Hills Have Eyes

Whatever else that tends to catch my eye when I'm at work.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a great movie for October and December.
Corpse Bride is awesome.
A lot of old B-Movies would be cool.
The Child's Play movies (note- the last two do NOT count)
The old Texas Chainsaw and Amitville Horror... I highly dislike the new ones.
The Butterfly Effect is good all year round.
Anything creepy, I guess.

Aside from the already mentioned ones:

Any of Romero's "Dead" flicks (preferably the originals, but the remakes ain't bad)
Alien (the first one)
The Omen
SAW
Freddy vs Jason (not scary by any means, but makes for some good cheap fun)
Jacob's Ladder
Rosemary's Baby
Last House on the Left

And watch as many episodes of The Twilight Zone as you can; Scifi channel usually runs a late-night marathon every now and then.

Saw is a good movie to watch and probably Nightmare on Elm Street, they seem to play all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies like all night on Halloween.
