-- There is some major backstage heat on Juventud for using some wrestlers’ signature moves. Chris Benoit talked to Juventud and told him to apologize to these wrestlers. Despite the talk, it’s now two weeks later and still no apologies have been made.

The feeling backstage is that Juventud knows that Vince and Johnny Ace both like him, so he figures he’s immune to any backstage troubles.

Psycosis and Super Crazy don’t hang out with him backstage because of how he’s been acting. They no longer travel with him because they don’t want any of his heat to come off on them. Juventud’s new travel partner is Bob Orton.

First he ignores management by showing off his chest with baby oil, and now this.

I wish I had heard that conversation...

Benoit: Listen man, I want you to apologize to everyone who you've stolen a move from and made it look better...

Juvi: K, who?

*Benoit unravels a 10 foot long sheet of paper*

Benoit: (Clears throat).... Triple H.

Juvi: Are you for real!?

Benoit: I'M FOR REEEEEAAALLLLLZZZZ!!!!

From obsessediwthwrestling.com

(2002) Eric Bischoff and Juventud Guerrera had a tense confrontation, backstage at the WWA Pay Per View. Juvi came up to Bischoff and said "how's it going, boss?". Bischoff's response was something like Weren't you one of the guys who signed a petition to get me fired?, in response to what occurred after Bash at the Beach 2000. After Russo let Hogan become World Champion from an easy Jarrett defeat, Russo cut a promo on Hogan, and then declared that the REAL title match would be Booker T vs. Jeff Jarrett instead. After this incident, WCW wrestler Konnan sent around a petitition to get wrestlers to back Russo instead of Eric Bischoff. Bischoff told Juvi that he'd never forget that, to which Juvi apparently responded "But I'm still real, and I'm still the juice", to whatever that means.

Bischoff ran down the entire Vince Russo clique (such as Jeff Jarrett, etc.), or wrestlers close to Russo during late 1999 or during 2000, and said that they couldn't make it in wrestling today.

Eric Bischoff apparently told friends Earnest Miller and Ric Steiner to not sign any contracts with any of the start-up federations, like the WWA.

Ummmm, if you use another persons finisher in the WWE its like plagurism, as it's your finisher is one of the things you are no for by the fans. If he was using it out of WWE it doesnt matter, it's what they do within the WWE that counts.

Yes, but I believe IP means that unless you were doing that in the WWE first they (the WWE) will not count it.

For example, if someone had of used the stunner before Austin did, and they came into the WWE, if they used the Stunner, it wouldnt matter that they used it first they would have gotten their walking orders faster than..well i dunno, but pretty fast I'd believe.

If that makes sense, then yeah.

Yeah but then again Paul London is not Steve Austin.

Yeah I get what he's saying, but that line of thinking is pretty silly considering who we are talking about, these guys aren't exactly top carders so really why should the WWE care if they have two cruiserweights doing the same move. Neither of them sadly will ever really get a serious push.

High Impact v.W.o
11-19-2005, 05:08 AM
Once again, yes I agree with you, and if it was another move they probably wouldnt care, but since its a move that get's good pops from the crowd (as it looks very good when done right) and since it gets decent pops, it really is a move they probably would rather have for one wrestler to use, as the more its used, the less people will pop for it.

Also the WWE have now banned the move, and were pretty worried about it beforehand anyway, so two people using a move they already dislike, isnt something they would probably like.

What makes this Juvi-"stealing"-the-450 thing even weirder is that the only reason he uses a 450 as his finisher in the first place is because when he came in, he couldn't use a Shooting Star Press (his finisher in the indies) because Billy Kidman was already using it.

Would't it be cool if there was some level of innovation within the Cruiserweights?

It was, indeed. He probably used it Mexico before that, although I don't know that for sure.

By all rights, he should have been allowed to use the 450. Now that Kidman's gone, London should be allowed to go back to using the SSP, which was better than Kidman's anyway. It's odd that Juvi isn't allowed to use his own move because someone else uses it, but the other guy only uses it because he couldn't use his finisher because someone else was using it when he debuted. Pretty asinine thinking by WWE.

Then again, who's surprised?

Loose Cannon
11-19-2005, 06:57 PM
LOL, just reading about him on wikipedia. Fogot about all this

Juvi was released from WCW after an "incident" in Australia where Juvi embarrassed the company by making a scene publicly while under the influence of what was believed to be PCP. The night before he smoked an unknown substance given to him by an unknown party at a nightclub. The next morning he ran into the hotel lobby and began attacking everyone in sight, including other wrestlers. It was his second offense as he had a previous DUI against him.

That was the reason the Rock singled him out - I remember the first time Juvi did it, he did the People's Elbow, then went right up to the camera, and yelled "I know my role baby!".

Funny story from Juvi's shoot interview: On one flight to a show, Juvi was situated on the plane, and Rock walked on and sat a few rows ahead of Juvi. Juvi, the whole time, was hoping that Rock wouldn't notice him, because of the gimmick stealing thing...Flight ended, Juvi waits until everybody else is off before getting up and out, hoping to avoid seeing Rock. He walks out the plane, and standing there, waiting for him, is Rock. Rock then proceeds to compliment Juvi on his in-ring skill and wants him to know that he thinks he's really talented. Juvi, as a result, loves the Rock now.
