But yeah, I've been meaning to check out that new Kweli. Haven't listened to hip hop in a while though, I've been busy reliving the '60s.

I have not been keeping up on hip hop at all recently except Kanye. I will say though that I am hooked on that one Three 6 Mafia song. That shit is addictive.

Ahhh..

Do you have the whole album??

Great beats and a couple of LOL punchlines.. Juice says:

Maker's Marka, cranberry vodka,
body was Silk, but her face was the Shocker..

no I haven't listened to any new rap other than the videos on MTVU and Late Registration. I just dl'ed the Wu Tang thing though and I saw a Del the Funky Homosapien and Aesop Rock track so this should be good.

I found out earlier today that Zack De La Rocha's solo album is finally coming out on the 31st.. If it it what it has been rumored to be (for the last 2 years), it'll be chocked full of Hip Hop cameos..

Muggs Vs GZA: Grandmasters
Little Brother - The Minstrel Show
Blackalicious - The Craft
Beanie Sigel - The B Coming..
Prince Paul - Hip Hop Gold Dust

Sage Francis and Atmosphere also have new ones..

In the "non-Hip Hop" catagory Gorillaz-Demon Days and Damien Marley-Welcome to Jamrock are both great..

I have a confession to make. I really like "Put You on the Game" by the Game. It's such a good beat and the lyrics are actually pretty skilled.

Fucking Timbaland
