The chances of this happening is zero because the chances are that the person that was talking to Shelton will be Momma ( due to recent casting calls ) but bear with me.
Just say that next week Shelton does not appear but HBK gets attacked by a mystery attacker. The crowd will go apeshit because they think its Bret. Then the next raw Vince is in the ring by himself doing a promo confirming that Bret was in Italy last Raw and the mystery attacker is still not know. Then all of a sudden Shelton runs out and attacks Vince to a bloody pulp.
Vince comes out all bandaged up next week and announces that Shelton has been fired. Next HBK comes out with an envelope and explains that he got this in the mail with instructions that this was to be played on Raw. Vince says he will play it later on the night. Anyway the video is Bret Hart and Shelton in a room confirming that Bret has been training Shelton and his protégé was indeed behind the attack on Shaun and challenges Vince and Shaun at WM on the basis that if they win Shelton is rehired or if they lose Bret will have to admit that he was wrong and Shelton is permantily hired.
There is also an opputnity for Jericho or Benoit (would make sense since they where both trained by Stu) to tag with Shelton since Bret cant wrestle
The pros of my idea is-
-It will give fans a reason to care about Shelton (the only thing that he has lacked)
-Bret cant wrestler a full match anymore (due to health) and never will this is the best next thing
- Finally will we get interaction between Vince, Shawn and Bret.
- it will launch Shelton to the next level.
- Increase interest in this years wm.
- Its fucking Montreal
