If you could take one wrestler from the past (except for the following) and replace him with Cena to lead the WWE into the next generation, who would it be? Keep in mind that this wrestler would be in their prime now and will not have existed (well, not have wrestled as a major player) before.

The following cannot be chosen because they had such big parts in the last 20 or so years...

Ric Flair
Hulk Hogan
Steve Austin
The Rock
Bret Hart
Shawn Michaels
The Undertaker

Chris Benoit, Eddie G, Jericho, RVD, or Booker T.

Yeah yea you said one but I think any of those guys could be a big time player if put in Cenas role in there prime. Shit Benoit, Jericho and RVD probably still could do it now with the right respective pushes.

In all honesty, if we need to replace Cena with someone, here's a more..... okay, not serious idea, but an idea never the less.

Randy Savage.
Another white rapper!

Now if I could be serious for a moment, Owen Hart and Curt Henning would have done well.
Maybe with the right push Justin Credible could do it.
Same goes for Tommy Dreamer and RVD.

'Don't you wish I could sing
To end your suffering
Don't you wish you could be
Deaf while you lsiten to me..."

Actually, Jericho wouldn't be that bad as long as he lipsynched or whatever. He's decent in studio (The wonders of powerful computers), and he doesn't flow like someone's got a foot jammed up his ass WHILE he's taking a shit (Say, oh...CENA?).

But it's painful hearing live clips.

*Max Mini debut*

"Sit back, relax and admire me.
Even though I was hired in sym-pa-thy.
I was rejected by McDonalds, no quarter pounder,
Yeah that's right, I couldn't see over the counter.
I went into boxing, but for me there's no division,
Everyone else said hiring midgets would be a bad decision.

So I spoke to Vinny Mac and begged for employment,
He said yes as long as I gave him some enjoyment.
I didn't understand what the hell he meant,
Until his pants came down and forward he bent.
I looked in amazement, was this for real?
He told me it was just the normal ordeal.
He said 'Why do you think Hunter is at the top?'
'Because he has the biggest cock'
So with a deep breath I gave Vince his bit of fun,
And eventually came my load like a bullet from a gun.
He told me I was hired, and that's the end of the story,
No need for courtrooms, no need for a jury.
I had a job, and now here I am,
After giving Vince a good old ram.
So line anyone up and I'll knock 'em down,
And I'll be on to WrestleMania for the ultimate crown.
Here I come, don't spill your tea.
Cena's 6 foot 2, but you can't see ME!"

I don't think many will agree with me, but I'd like to have seen Billy Gunn pushed as a Main-Eventer. He was charismatic, decent in the ring, had the look, was BIGGER than Cena *vince cumshot*, and he was hugely over.
