Further proof that anyone can do the Canadian Destroyed so longer and the reciever of the move can back flip really quickly.

Scott actually throws a pretty nice moonsault.

I have seen D'Amore wrestle quite a few times and he is deadly. Despite what a lot you may think.

I saw Scott wrestle a match with D Lo Brown that was better than 90% of WWE today.

I remember seeing Scott D'Amore nail a pretty sweet moonsault on some jobber back when TNA was on FSN.

Well...the guy can take alot of hits. Makes sense he can actually do a few. And the CD is one of the easiest ones to do.

Makes perfect sense, I mean dosnt D'Amore run a wrestling school ... and if memory serves me correctly didnt he train Sabin?

What Would Kevin Do?

Ya know, that could also be a plain piledriver/powerbomb reversal :)

What I said about the pic- Ah, gotta love Team Canada!

What a friend of mine said- Isn't that the move that Finlay did to the midget?

Oh really?

Didn't realise you were a trained worker

From someone who actually is a trained wrestler...the CD wouldn't be THAT hard of a move, to pull off or to receive...not saying it isn't new and exciting, but simply saying it (if done properly) wouldn't be out of the norm to perform.

Just don't expect Hogan to take one. :shifty:

How many of you guys can do a standing moonsault?

Yeah thought so, you need 2 guys to pull off that move and make it look good. I've seen people get hurt with that one before, you need to have 2 guys who know what they are doing. Sabin is awesome at that, hence why D'More can pull it off against him. Anyone seen Williams do that move on a guy like Jarrett? Nope. Mainly the X division guys who are the same size as him and can do that athletic style.

A kid I'm bringing up asked me to help him come up with a finish the other day, now he likes that that spotfest high-flying style and such. So I started thinking of how I could tweak some of the newer moves out there and the Canadian Destroyer pops in my head. I go "I got, Flipping Tombstone!" He goes out that night and hits the sickest damn thing I have ever seen. truly amazing move. The crowd ate it up so I'd imagine he'll stick with it. And when you think about, it's actually easier to take then the Flip Pile-Driver, since you do a flip bump instead of a back-flip-bump.

Still, I only see it working on the smaller guys that are more flexible.

He gets on the second turnbuckle with their head between his legs and flips forward onto his ass, the bumper taker a flip-bump to the shoulders. Trust me, i's not as complicated as it sounds.

Sounds exciting and marketable to me.

Again...don't count on Hogan to take it. :shifty:

Sounds to complicated to set up for me (it's doable, but the specific posistioning needed could kill a matches momentum to use routinely.)

Oh right.

i had this vision of the other guy being in a crab posision basicaly giving the dude a blowjob then flipping over

Being on the second rope sounds alot easier than my way

Nah, peice of piss, look at how most Tornado DDT's are set up, give them a kick, they are stunned, you can have your way with them

Sounds to complicated to set up for me (it's doable, but the specific posistioning needed could kill a matches momentum to use routinely.)It's his problem now. But I can think of several ways to get int that postion out of no where. I think he'll be fine. And if he can't he can use it as one of those once in a blue moon moves (like Angle's moon sault for example.)

Tanaka managed to use a Diamond Dust in all his matches and makes it look good, just watch some tapes of those match and you should have all the ways to use it you need

You know, thats a really good idea. I'll let him borrow some of FMW/ECW tapes. That'll help him immensely. :y:

Oh really?

Didn't realise you were a trained worker

While I might not be a trained worker, I can tell which moves are the easist to do. and the CD ain't exactly a flipping standing moonsault.

What Would Kevin Do?

Nah, peice of piss, look at how most Tornado DDT's are set up, give them a kick, they are stunned, you can have your way with them

Okay, let me reword that a bit. You can get it in without killing the pace, but there's only so many ways to do it (Even with Tanaka, there's only so many reasonable set ups into the move.) Also, you don't see either really used as a finisher, as both seem to be just signature moves.

IMO, a good finisher needs to be something quick, mainly, it can come out of anywhere. It can be worked into a reversal series, etc. A move like that doesn't really fall into that category for me.

It DOES however fit into the mega finisher of death category for me. That's not done much in American wrestling though. ( Moves like The Burning Hammer, Ligers Shooting Star Press, Low Ki's top rope Ki-Krusher, etc.) that aren't used every match, but are used when the opponent kicks out of your normal finisher(s).

Once again, this is all IMO. It just drives me nuts when finishers have the same set up over and over. Top rope moves fall into that category for me to. Alas, take Eddie G. With him, it was usually the three amigos set up, or him knocking the other person off the top as they tried a superplex. In those situations, I think you have to at least have a general set up move to come out of nowhere (Three amigos worked alright, as do RVD's kicks, etc.)

Like for the guy in question, if he wans to use it routinely, maybe give him a standing dragon sleeper as a set up. It can be locked in easily, and in creative ways. It, in theory, weakens the opponent, making the finisher easier to hit, and he can be dragged backwards into the corner with it, setting up the posistion nicely.

It requires the guy taking it to do a standing rotation backwards, much like a standing moonsault, only with the CD you land on your head, which is much easier. Prick
