All from Lords of Pain

It looks like Mick Foley will be returning to his persona of Cactus Jack when he takes on Edge in a Street Fight at Wrestlemania 22. The official PPV website has already been updated to change Foley's name over to Cactus.

Who didn't see that coming?:)

Vince McMahon obviously didn't have his memory working on all thrusters last night. Vince made a comment about how last night's tag team match would be the first time that Triple H & Shane McMahon would team up, but that's just not true.

In fact, Shane & HHH have teamed up on two previous occasions before last night's Raw. On September 2nd, 1999, they teamed together to face The Rock -N- Sock Connection for the WWE Tag Team Championships. The second time came at the 2000 King of the Ring, when Shane & HHH teamed with Vince McMahon to take on The Rock, The Undertaker, and Kane. In that match, Triple H's WWE Championship was on the line, which The Rock won after pinning Vince McMahon.

Yea the whole thng seemed to be off between him and Cena.

Talk going around inside the WWE is that Andrew Martin, better known to fans as Test, will be offered a brand new deal for his return to the company very soon. There is even talk going around about bring back Kevin Fertig, who was released shortly after debuting as "Mordecai".

Yay Test & Modicai :n:

For those concerned fans who were wondering about the status of Joey Mercury, wonder no longer. The co-holder of the WWE Tag Team Championship was not injured at last night's Supershow TV tapings. He was just doing a very good job at selling as he left the ring and the arena.

Great news :n:

Blackjack Mulligan and Blackjack Lanza were officially announced to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last night on Raw. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan will be inducting the two individuals. He was their manager in the seventies.

THE FOLLOWING PRESS RELEASE WAS ISSUED BY SPIKE TV:

New York, NY - March 20, 2006 - There are no "Friends." No "Frasiers."
And certainly no "Joeys" on Spike TV's "Full Contact Thursdays."
Instead, Spike TV has created the only must-see TV block for guys with
the new season of The Ultimate Fighter 3, UFC Unleashed, and TNA:
iMPACT! premiering Thursday, April 13 (9:00pm-Midnight ET/PT).

"We are putting two of the hottest brands together in one block that
will surely be a destination for guys, said Kevin Kay, General Manager,
Spike TV. "The UFC has solidified its place as guys' new favorite sport
with ratings routinely surmounting the more traditional sports. The
perfect anchor for the night is TNA: iMPACT, a high action show for real
wrestling fans that has tremendous potential in primetime where guys are
looking for programming just for them"

The Ultimate Fighter is among cable's top performers in drawing the
hard-to-reach Men 18-34 demographic. Last fall, season 2 of The Ultimate
Fighter drew a 2.7 rating with Men 18-34 out-performing such sports
properties as the NBA on ESPN and TNT (Tues., Wed., and Thurs), ESPN's
Saturday Night ACC Football; and ESPN's "World Series of Poker" (Tues).*

TNA iMPACT has been a ratings winner on Saturday nights in key male
targets. Versus ratings from a year ago, TNA: iMPACT is up +54% in HH,
+97% in M18-49, +153% in M18-34 and +65% in average audience.

9:00-10:00pm

10:00-11:00pm

the "ULTIMATE FIGHTER" and to be given a contract in the Ultimate
Fighting Championship(r) organization. The third season of Spike TV's
highly successful reality series, The Ultimate Fighter features UFC
legends and bitter rivals Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock as coaches. UFC
President Dana White serves as host.
*PLEASE NOTE - The ULTIMATE FIGHTER 3 premieres on APRIL 6 at 10pm
ET/PT.

11:00pm-Midnight
TNA iMPACT!
The new wrestling alternative, "TNA: iMPACT!" delivers a distinct brand
of high-risk, athletic entertainment. Viewers are drawn in by TNA's

best up-and-coming talent, such as AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa
Joe, and Monty Brown.

Good to see that Mercury was okay.

I marked out like a bitch for MNM last night at the Supershow, and he really seemed like he was out of it. Great to see that he's in one piece.

And Melina is uber hot in person. Seriously.

I like Andrew Martin...hopefully he can (for once in his career) get an angle that doesn't involve him being some Diva's bitch.

Also at King of the Ring 1999 when they teamed up against Austin in the notorious ladder match for control of the WWE

Correction -

For those concerned fans who were wondering about the status of Joey Mercury, wonder no longer. The co-holder of the WWE Tag Team Championship was not, contrary to popular backstage belief, Charlie Haas in disguise, and has therefore not been released from his contract as is the usual approach for the WWE when dealing with, and I quote, "that fucking Haas guy".

No, that was Vince and Shane.

Triple H wasn't even on the card, as the main event was The Rock vs The Undertaker.
