Post in here about the greatness of Y2J, and how he should stop making a name for himself and come back to us.

If you still remember him beating HHH in 2000, and marked out like a little girl, this is the thread for you

I was never a big fan of Jericho, but I'll merely say he's another guy that I didn't give a damn about much.. until he left. Shame.

I'm sure he'd return to wrestling a lot sooner if fans chanted "We want Jericho" often enough. I know it's not likely to happen, but imagine that?

Man, I love Jericho, I remember as a kid watching heat, and always marking out for too cool, I was the biggest mark ever, when anyone was face I loved them, when heel, I hated them, I've never been like that about Jericho, from the first time I saw him, I took to him and I've never stopped cheering him on.

The great thing is that Jericho falls under the same category as The rock, austin, hogan, and shawn michaels (mabye even kane and undertaker too) argueably, Jericho isnt as popular as those, but I know that when he's 'retired' he'll always be back for a match, or just to run his mouth on the mic.

I didn't even realize it until a couple months ago, but I miss Jericho as well. And that night back in 2000 when Jericho "won" the WWF title from HHH will always be a moment. Even though I didn't make tv, I took a "Come Back Y2J" sign with me to SNME. He was always entertaining, no matter what role he was playing.

Jericho is but one of many unused, misused, and lost talents of the WWE. His title run was too brief and politics lost the title for him. He hasn't really recovered since losing the WWE Undisputed title to HHH.

As for missing Jericho, yeah. Every time I see "The Spirit Squad", "Umaga", and other such novelty acts, I wish WWE would kill the gimmicky crap and bring quality talents such as Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, and Brock Lesnar back on active WWE rosters......

Sadly, it'll probably never happen if Jericho ever gets success with acting[ala The Rock].

Jericho is probably up there in my top 3 favorites of all time...right next to Flair and Gunn.

Bet you never thought you'd hear those three names in the same sentence.

Indeed, two generic gimmicks and a legend.

OHHH! Who's he talking about?

Jericho in WCW as the heel cruiserweight is probably my favorite gimmick in wrestling history. I will love him forever for that. Now if only he would realize that Fozzy sucks.

As much as I loved his time with the Cruiser belt, coming up with a million different loop holes, and as much as I loved his non-fued with Goldberg, for me the best time was when he was fueding with Chris Benoit over the IC Title for the last half of 2000 and the starts of 2001. Picture perfect.

I liked Jericho(especially when he was heel) but I can't say that I miss him. I'd rather see him happy doing his own thing than be another misused talent.

That's the thing, I would love to see Jericho every week, but then I sit down and realise that if I got to see Jericho every week, I would be forced to sit through him jobbing to people who wouldn't even be licking his boots. So I think, let him retire a happy millionare rock star.

If Chris Jericho doesn't make it big, I can see him returning to the WWE. And why not? The guy's smart enough to know that if he waits a while, the WWE will give him anything to return. That includes a run at the top.

Chris Jericho has had a pretty legendary career when you think about it. He is the prolific WWE Intercontinental Champion of all-time. He unified the WWE and WCW Championships. The man will one day be in the Hall of Fame. Him returning would be a blessing to the WWE, and I think even they would see it as such.

WWE: Chris man, we want you to come back, you know a one time thing, but we got a pay check for you.

Jericho: Why would I want to come back?

WWE: You could do something you have never done before...

Jericho: What? Too late jerk offs, I mean you already acidently made me the most decorated Intercontinental Champion, because you TRIED to push me down you subjected me to win both the recently retired belts Hardcore, and European...since in your eyes I can't get over on my own I have won the Tag straps with a basic whos who of recent legends...and to pay me for all my shit by making me your Undisputed Champion...made money off of my body by sending me in Hell in a Cells, Elimination, TLC, and even Ladder matches at a whim...Face it, by trying to not let me hang out on easy street on top, you made me become a legend of acheivment.

WWE: No, when we say you could do something you've never done, we're talking about the fact we forgot to job you out to Chris Masters before you left.
