Back to the vintage Oscar last night with a 6 round whooping on Ricardo Mayorga. He looks so much better not fighting completely bloated in quests to make stupid records. He'll go down as one of the all time greats anyway but he needed a performance like this. Hopefully this isn't the last time we'll see him in the ring.

Mayweather Jnr fight looks dead and buried now. Good thing too. He should be fighting Hatton and De La Hoya should end it fighting Felix Trinidad.

Great fight. I'm not a huge boxing fan (give me MMA any day), but I was at a sports bar watching the Lakers game, and they had the fights up on the big screens. The undercard fights bored the hell out of me, but I was standing up and cheering like crazy during the main event. The crowd was wild and the fight was pretty intense. I think one of the commentators said it best when he said it looked like a professional vs an amatuer last night.
