The Toronto Raptors select...Adam Morrison! *sobs and cries all the way to the podium*

I don't think they'll take Morrison. They need backcourt help more than another forward.

No way does Morrison go number one.

Tyrus Thomas goes #1, with the Bulls taking Aldridge.

Sonics will take Ronnie Brewer at 10. He's alright but I wish we would've gotten a higher pick and been able to take B Roy

Exactly. I'd take Aldridge, personally. Aldridge, Bosh, Villanueva, Peterson, and James is a pretty solid starting five (assuming they can re-sign James).

You do realize that Aldridge is a forward right?

I figured it out

Raptors trade Charlie V, Mike James (in a sign and trade) and the pick to Minnesota for KG

This isnt a great draft at the top but there's alot of talented guys in the middle and end of the first round so I'd be happy to see the Raptors move the pick and James and Villenueva (who are both over rated and will cost the Raptors too much)

btw if the Raptors keep it they will take Bargnani

I cant see the Raptors keeping this pick, but i cant really see who would trade up. Maybe the Knicks. I can see Thomas trading 7 of his best for the number 1 pick. Would make sense ( to Thomas ).

Center really..

He played forward in college and is listed as a power forward everywhere.

I always considered him a Ben Wallace/Antonio Davis type player. Has the size of a power forward, but plays like a center.

I don't see why the Raptors won't just take JJ Reddick #1 and win 17 straight NBA Championships.

Tyrus Thomas seems like he'll be injury riddled, i wouldn't take him.

Tyrus Thomas reminds me of Theo Ratliff. I think he'll be a really solid player, but I don't think he'll ever be a superstar.

That's what sucks about the NBA Draft, it is all based around potential while a guy with proven talent slips. Thomas had very average numbers in the regular season, but for some reason he is a lock to be a top three pick it seems.
