Yeah, he injured his shoulder in his match with Benoit, now he's having surgery. He'll be out for at least a few months.,

If only Jody Fleisch hadn't retired. He'd make a great replacement for Henry: black and talented.

Yeah, it was quite apparent Henry was hurt at the very beginning. He just look messed up.

Not happy to see a guy hurt, but the Teddy Long stable needed shaking up anyway. I wonder if Booker really would turn heel and bring some credibility to it.

Damn skippy hippy

Just to clarify for everyone, Meltzer says that the injury happened before the match, and the angle was done to explain the injury.

Anyway, this seems like a good way to get Benoit and the Crossface over.

They should do something next week where Hunter gets really worried about the Crossface. Maybe he could talk to Teddy Long (an excuse to get him on TV more) and ask if Henry is in really bad shape. Long coudl explain that he was fine going into the match, and then Benoit used the CRossface and now Henry is out for 4 months (or whatever it is). Then you show Hunter looking kinda scared.

Teddy Long should be named Chief of Staff by Bischoff.

Gowen got fired, henry got injured. Wow what a day. Next Booker T will turn heel. I think this could be what saves his career. He's like Jericho. He needs a different direction (face to heel) to boost his career (or what's left of it)

Don't be surprised if Booker T turns heel in the not-so-distant future.

Either that, or Long might head to Smackdown to manage Orlando Jones (or The Cat?).

How much do you wanna bet this will be HHH's excuse for burying Benoit?

Apparently it's just me, but I was actually kinda starting to enjoy the Mark Henry character, despite the lackluster wrestling and the negative mic skills. I thought that the way they were using him was about the best possible way that they COULD use him. I know that's not saying much, but I really didn't mind seeing him on RAW. I can't really pinpoint it, though. Oh well.

I can't really pinpoint it, though. Oh well.

The WWE were using Henry pretty well. He was being made to look like a very formiddable opponent (i.e. his win over Booker T, and looking tough against Goldberg, etc.).

Because of this portrayal, Henry would be good for up-and-coming mid-carders. Anyone who scored a victory over Henry would get credibility.

On one hand, there will be one less talentless wrestler on Raw.
On the other hand, one less person to make fun of with the captions.

Ah! I shall drink coke and rum! Coke to celebrate Mark Henry's injury, and rum to feel sorry for him!

You know what I am tired of?

Jr calling Mark Henry "The Strongest Man in the World" when he won that gay crap like 4 years ago, and there has been a strong man competition every year since then. That means 4 new guys became strongest man in the world after Mark Henry.

Jr needs to choke on his neck fat and die.

Jr: "BAH GAWD, WHAT KINDA MAN IS MARK HENRY, THE STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD, BAH GAWD DIDDLY GOSH DARNIT"
King: "Jr, shut the hell up, christ! *King snaps Jr's neck*

Henry's also a washout in the Olympics. But how often do wrestlers live up to the hype?

I can think of a few people that definitely are more dangerous than Ken Shamrock, Val Venis really wasn't the fastest up-and "cummer" in wrestling, and...Uhhhh...Kane really isn't a machine...

there is a difference from HHH and Henry...also Henry seems to be Hurting his Opponets latly not to long ago he forced lance storm to leave the building on crutches. HHH at least tries to protect his opponets and is alot more careful.

Actually, I think it was closer to like 8 or 9 years ago. You're right though, that is quite silly. It'd be like calling the Chicago Bulls the NBA Champions.
