Well registration should open up with a week or so I figured I'd get a thread going.

So should we have one large league and one small league or just have one large league?

I wouldn't mind being commish of one of the leagues.

Sign up here and give suggestions for the league(s).

I think there should be three leagues...

1. For the more experienced Fantasy Baseballer's (Competitive).

2. For the inexperienced and/or the ones who just suck at Fantasy Baseball.

3. And then there would be the larger casual league.

Thoughts?

In 'the competitive' league, the people that have been in it every year should get first dibs. Guys like RBM, Adder, E_N, etc that don't post alot on TPWW shouldn't be left behind. As for the # of leagues, I guess it's all dependant on how much demand there is.

I'm interested in being in the competitive league. I was in a couple of leagues last year, and sometimes it sucks because some people give up when they get behind. Whether i'm winning or losing, i stay competitive all year long. Would you do a live draft or autopick? Let me know if i qualify to be in your competitive league. Go YANKEE'S!!!!!!!!!!

Why do you say that? Because i don't have the post counts you guys do? That shouldn't matter, i've been in competitive leagues the last couple of years in baseball, basketball and football and have done well in all of them. Are you looking to have a league that's competitive or one that's full of your buddies? Either way it doesn't matter, if you need another person to put in your league than i'll do it, if not, no sweat off my back, their are plenty of other leagues.

It might end up that theres no empty spots (slim chance) and it's not fair to anyone that was in the league last year to throw them out for no reason.

Just a suggestion:

Since most people want in on the competitive league, but there seems to be an iron lock with those in last year, why not have it that next year the bottom 4 teams lose their spot and the top 4 of the big league take their place? It might cut down on end of the season bs as well (like uneven trades). If people in the top 4 of the big league already have teams in the competitive one, then more stay in the comp, as a tie would go to the comp. league. How bout it?
