View Full Version : Bobby Lashley is out...

According to WWE.com, Lashley has got liver problems, which means he will be out until further evaluation. So at The Great American Bash it will now be Finlay vs. William Regal for the United States Championship.

What are the odds Matt Hardy is added to the match? I mean, Finlay vs. Regal is good enough, but the fans will likely be confused. It would be great to see Regal turn face, but I doubt they will switch the title. With Hardy doing nothing on the PPV, and him being a clear fan-favourite, I see Theodore Long adding Hardy to the match, and Matt actually winning the belt.

They need to do something to save this match for the fans who are conditioned to boo both Finlay and Regal. In my ideal world, King Booker would tell Regal to forfeit the match, so that the Court can help him win the World Title, but Regal decides to quit the Court so he can challenge. Regal would then win the US Title, but I doubt it will happen that way. Hardy is a clear fan-favourite from the get-go, and him winning the match would be a worthy replacement to Lashley getting the belt back.

What!? Oh gods....they're dropping like flies!

The black Superstars are going down.

Noooo. I actually enjoy Lashley. I hope it's not too serious.

If Regal and Finlay get to have an actual match they can most likely steal the show. Rey vs Booker has potential, but not as much as Finlay and Regal.

GET AWAY FROM THE BLACK WRESTLERS!

Lashley seems a little boring to me... He seems like a decent enough midcarder, but he only does about 4 different moves. I'll give him time...

as horrible as it sounds, LOL at the idea of the black wrestlers going down in droves.

I've got Booker beating Rey in Tipsters too... :shifty:

Woah you've got Booker over Rey? Hmm... going to check that thread and see what other people think.

Him and Khali both have liver problems.

...What could be causing this recent wave of liver problems?

Hmm, Mysterio is also supposably(sp?) leaving for a while due to injuries as well...OMG Vince has finally unleashed his minority killing disease.

For some reason, I think the casual fan will actually enjoy the match for what it will be: A very Physical, very BRUTAL affair.

Am I the only one who knows that Khali isn't black? LOL, it's not exclusive to them.

This is getting really screwed up now. Find it hard to believe that they would do a random physical just 2 days before a ppv, knowing something like this could happen. I do like Lashley, so it sucks for him since he's a big part of SD right now. And with Khali out too? There seems to be a SmackDown curse, and I'm going to the show on Tuesday, and there may not be anyone left by then.

They probably didn't do a regular physical, they doubtless found out because he went to a doctor or hospital.

So wait, the U.S. Title is now vacated? They better announce this shit at the PPV to everybody, otherwise everybody (the people who don't bother with WWE.com or the dirtsheets) will be confused as hell.

So will a loty of things. I dont' think Lashley and Khali being out at the same time is ocincidence, and I doubt Khali's on steroids (He doesn't have enough definition).

No. Lashley lost the US title last week to Finlay.

When is Paul Burchill set to return? He should win the US Title. Especially considering Pirates of the Caribbean has actually been released now. Regal vs. Burchill would be good and fun, but there's something awesome about the prospect of a Finlay vs. Burchill feud.

Finlay can talk about how he takes this sport seriously, and Burchill obviously doesn't. Burchill can get his own midget, which can lead to a Little Bastard vs. Little Buccaneer match. Unfortunately, the WWE will probably have Burchill jobbed out to Finlay as title fodder.
