I doubt anybody knows this, but I'm hoping someone can help me.

I know that Matt Borne was the first, and most famous, Doink. After him, Brooklyn Brawler replaced him temporarily as Doink became a face. Supposedly, a guy named Ray Apollo became the final Doink, during Doink's original run.

My question is, does anybody know the specifics of when each guy took over the role? As in, when was Borne's last WWE Doink appearance, and when was Apollo's first appearance as Doink?

I actually believed the 2nd Doink that turned face was Steve Keirn and The Brooklyn Brawler only worked as Doink during house shows. As far as your question goes though, I have no idea.

Borne played Doink from when the gimmick started in 1992 until Doink turned face and brought in Dink in 1994. Steve Lombardi took over as face Doink until WM10, when Ray Apollo played him starting with the Doink/Dink mixed tag match against Bam Bam and Luna. Apollo continuted to play Doink until he became a jobber in 1995.

The second Doink at WM9 was Skinner but I think that was his only apperance as Doink.

Dunno pro bably fucked some of that up but that's what I can remember

They should have just always kept Doink around.

DOINK CAN NEVER DIE! ONLY THE ACTORS WHO PORTRAY HIM!

I know that Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore played Doink on two occasions: once during the A.P.A. Bar Room Brawl at...Vengeance was it? And again when Rhyno had Doink come out as an opponent to Chris Benoit in '03 I think.

I loved Doink. He was an underrated heel, but I also enjoyed him as a face.
