How does that make sense? If Paul is the "owner" of ECW why would he put himself in a match with Sabu? +1 in the that show sucks column.

What Would Kevin Do?

It's "extreme rules" meaning Heyman is "setting up" Sabu. Chances are, either the Bashams will interfere nonstop, or Mike Knox,Test and Bigshow will, causing something like Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu and RVD Vs Test, Knox, Bigshow, and Heyman...

Holly interferes, etc, etc.

I'm gonna bet Heyman didn't book himself into a match. Considering in the entire run in ECW (a good amount of time in which he was a manager) he never did.

Did they actually say it was a match? I thot they just said "head to head" or something vague like that. I mean, how many times has DX had to "face" the McMahons by fighting the Spirit Squad?

Yeah, it's an Extreme match. Vince apparently booked it because he thought it would bump the ratings up, since they're losing the carryover from RAW.

THe carryover...?

Vince apparently believes that a very good chunk of the ECW audience is carryover from RAW, who see it and are reminded of ECW.

The rating will show if he's right or not tonight.

I personally think ECW has been good so far but lets see where they're going with this.

Pretend I"m a retarded infant, and explain to me this carryover logic. Think of it as if I don't see why RAW fans would suddenly forget about ECW, and go from there.

Well, it's just WWE going the "safe route" I suppose. They think that if they don't advertise ECW on RAW, casual fans will not know that ECW is going to have this or that on the show, and they won't have a reason to tune in.

Since RAW wasn't in it's normal slot on it's normal channel, those same fans may have missed it or something.

I really don't know how to explain this, it's what the WWE thinks will happen, not me.

But would people really think that ECW would no longer air b/c RAW was moved by Tennis? Besides, if you saw RAW, you did see an ECW advertisement. So what the hell?

Xero

The whole point is that RAW was moved, and Vince is worried because that move basically guarantees a drop in ratings. Casual fans wouldn't search for RAW, if it's not on, they probably wouldn't go out of their way to find it.

So the whole point is the loss of viewership is going to impact the ratings.

But for one night. And only for the show that was moved.

Half correct, ECW will be affected because of the carryover RAW brings. It's small but can be impactful.

ECW is slowly becoming Raw, complete with Heyman as Vince, booking himself against, :SPOILER:and beating his stars.

Touche, my friend. But, has Russo booked himself in a match against a star? I really don't remember the details of WCW television.
