Jesus SHIT! Took a sec for the pic to load, but it popped up at once when it did. Scared the bejeezus out of me.

Which makes me wonder...where exactly is the bejeezus stored in the human body?

he was cool, but that was the only game he was in, which was pretty gay

Look how skinny his arms are. That will get him nowhere. Just because you have bad teeth doesn't mean you're tough.

Maybe that's why he had the huge-ass blades in his arms :p

Wow, he looks bad ass. He sucked in Mortal Combat 2 for Super Nes though. Yeah, that's the last MC game I owned.

I think it's near the "living shit." It can't all be dead and stinky, y'know?

As for the Baraka makeover, :y: I honestly didn't even know they'd made MK4 and 5, but 6 looks like a step in the right direction if all the characters look that wicked.

MK4 was the first one to move into a 3D area and introduce characters like Quan Chi.

MK5 = MK: Deadly Alliance

So yeah this will be the 6th.

I didn't know it was being made either though :o

I have never seen Mortal Kombat 3,4 or 5 are they any good?

3 sucked

4 was alright

5 was pretty good IMO, best in the series

3 was good - stuck to the original engine.

4 sucked - new engine and new characters were horrible.

5 don't know - haven't played but once, so I cannot give an opinion.

3 sucked

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was a worthy upgrade tho, it brought back classic Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, and the girls from MK2. And the cyborgs were cool.

MK: Deadly Alliance had a pretty solid fighting engine (though nowhere near as good as Virtua Fighter's), but there was just so much missing from it that would've made it feel like a true Mortal Kombat game. No pit levels, for example. No shape-shifting Shang Tsung (he's in the game, but doesn't change into other people anymore) They didn't even fraking have Liu Kang in it! Fun game, but it just didn't feel like MK. Considering it came out right around the same time as Virtua Fighter 4 and Tekken 4, it looked even more lackluster.

Hopefully MK 6 will bring back the goods. That Baraka looks pretty wicked, even if he does bear a disturbing resemblance to the Bat Boy from the tabloid papers.

Baraka was in MK4 Gold for Dreamcast.

The thing about Deadly Alliance was that it got boring pretty quick. The main mode was about taking characters through training. Plus there was way too many coffins to even care what was in them.

I hear ya. Let's just hope in the new one, unlockables won't be such a pain in the ass.

Kang wasn't in MK: DA because he died :'(

But his spirit flew into Kano's body in one of the endings.

I swear to god, this better not be shit.

I knew, I KNEW Midway would do this. See, if they just churn game out after game, I don't care how much I love the other games or how successful they become, it just wont work.

As far as Baraka goes, poor man's Wolverine.

Top Personals:

- Sub-Zero (All)
- Mavado
- Rieko
- Scorpion
- Kano (MK:DA)

I was always a Liu Kang man myself. I'd play as Scorpion on and off, but I always stuck to the main guy, even if he was a shameless Bruce Lee wannabe. That pissed me off so badly when they killed him off in the opening cut scene of MKDA

He damn well better be back in the new one. I mean, if they're going to bring back obscure guys like Baraka, they oughta bring back MK's answer to Ryu.
