You know what, I'm not even going to bother predicting any playoff games right now.
At this point, the only teams I can see doing it are Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis, New England, or San Diego. One of those teams is winning it, that's as extreme as my prediction is going to get at this point.

lol. I love how you have Dallas winning the SuperBowl although I'm sure you're just doing it because it's your team. I can't predict that far right now though tbh. I'm still unsure about a few things.
No shit. Realistically, I would still have them going to the NFC championship game and/or Super Bowl, but I don't want to jynx any of that.

The Jets are a fucking lock for the playoffs. Easiest remaining schedule ever. They are going to go 10-6 at worst. And no other AFC wild card contender is going to be better than 10-6, and apparently the Jets have the tie breaker so yeah.
Nervous Ferret
12-10-2006, 12:12 AM
yeah that and anybody can get hot for the playoffs. SEE: Steelers. Add on the fact they will be coming off like a 6 game win streak.

K suck my dick, I am taking you up on your Madden challenge 2nite because I want to spank you. LET'S GO.
I have like a huge hatred for the Chiefs this season because of Herm Edwards I guess (that actually worked out beautifully though so thanks), plus now cause of the playoff race. I have wanted them to lose every single game since the beginning of the season.

If the Jets do make the playoffs, I doubt they'd make it past the first round and they're not a lock for the playoffs yet imo...

PLEASE make another prediction excluding the Jets. Because from what I have seen, asking CanadianCrippla to blow on your dice is like asking MC Hammer to manage your bank account.

Chargers are on a roll. But no one is giving any love to Baltimore, and if you look at their remaining schedule, they could run the table, putting them at 13-3. Colts fall but probably still win 12 games (the other loss imo will be to Cincy), NE could win that division in their sleep.
Colts over Jacksonville, though I'd be scared shit if I'm the colts and see Jacksonville in the first round
Patriots over the Bengals, and i LOVE the Bengals, but in Foxboro late in the season, you gotta give it to Brady and Co because they've done it so many times before
Ravens over Colts. This is the type of team that will beat the Colts. A ball control offense that keeps the O off the field with a solid QB and tough defense. Plus Manning out in the cold weather is still not something I trust at all.
Chargers over the Pats. I think the Chargers have too many weapons for NE. But I will say that I don't trust Marty coaching anyone in the playoffs, buyer beware.
AFC Championship game: Coin Flip basically, but Rivers in that big a game against a sick defense and a team that has beaten them before. I think the Ravens take the AFC.
NFC
1. Bears
2. Saints
3. Cowboys
4. Seattle
5. Falcons
6. Giants
Either way here, I think the Giants are one and done. I don't trust Eli, Seattle has embarassed them before and the Cowboys are just better.
Cowboys over Giants
Seattle over Falcons. Dangerous game though, if Atlanta ever got in, they'd be a tough out for anyone
Seattle over Bears. With Alexander and Hasselbeck healthy, plus Grossman being spotty (last night's game notwithstanding), I think the Bears could have trouble scoring enough to win a game like this. Seattle however, has enough weapons to put points on the board.
Cowboys over Saints in a game that I think would wind up say 40-37 ish. Tons of offensive weapons on both sides, would probably look like a video game. I give the nod to the Boys figuring Parcells would have his guys a bit more ready.
Seattle over Cowboys. Seattle is good enough on both sides of the ball to play with anyone. So is Dallas. Another coin flip game essentially. but I trust Hasselbeck who did this last year a bit more than Romo, who we forget is essentially a rookie.
Ravens over Seahawks. Baltimore has the corners to play their receivers straight up. You could be looking at the last chance for Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis, McNair and most of that team. And I expect them to play like it. Seattle is tough on both sides of the ball but doesn't have the play-makers on defense that Baltimore does. Again, Ball control with the Ravens, keeping Seattle's O off the field. Thus I give the Ravens the nod.

If the Giants get their D back and Eli plays well, look for us to go for a surprise knockout or two. When the GMen fire on all cylinders they can compete with any team in the league.
