View Full Version : The WWE is apparently interested in Shocker, Mistico and Perro Aguayo Jr.

I'm too lazy to post the source, but you can find it in the headlines section and on news sites around the place. This isn't really about them being signed as much as it is "do you seem them being good additions?". "What if" discussionm, if you will.

This is probably me being overly positive again, but I think this could be great. Obviously these guys would be used in the cruiserweight division, and with Helms, Daivari, Jamie Noble, Funaki and Jimmy Wang Yang already in there, you've got yourself some fun shit going. Move Little Guido and Shannon Moore over from ECW, as well.

Mistico and Perro Aguayo Jr. sound impressive, and if they just let their cruiserweights fly for a change (I don't see what Vince's big deal is, he can just release them if they break their necks doing what they want to do), they could be another reason to watch SmackDown!.

Shocker is less impressive in the ring, from what I hear, and he doesn't blend too well with those of other styles, but if he was allowed to interact with his fellow luchadores, and if booked in slower matches, I can see him doing really well.

:y: :y: :y: To these signings, in my opinion.

Shocker is like the most boring mexican wrestler I've ever seen

Yeah, I was never impressed by Shocker. I haven't seen much of Aguayo or Mistico, but what I have seen was good.

But of course they'll be misused.

No no no no no no no. It will never, ever happen. Being a huge draw in Mexico does not = money in America. That may sound ridiculous but it's true, Konnan and Vampiro are two of the biggest names in the last 20 years in lucha and together I doubt have drawn much if anything in the States. I know Vince is always looking to try and draw in the latin market because it's an enormous base to make money from (ref: Eddie & Rey) but this just won't work.

Just don't make Shocker burst through a wall.

Lol. Loopydate's correct. Until they stop limiting cruiserweights the whole "division" won't mean much.

End of discussion.

Never seen any of these guys work, but Shocker is always amazing on EWR.

Having him wrestle (and win) every segment IS a bit of an overkill, Skip...

Maybe he just needs a change of gimmick?

I was pushing Jeff Jarrett too hard last time I played.

He was a mid-carder.

Pipe-Dream Time:

How awesome would the following Cruiserweight Division be:

* Gregory Helms
* Daivari
* Jamie Noble
* Jimmy Wang Yang
* Funaki
* Little Guido Maritato
* Shannon Moore
* Super Crazy
* Mistico
* Perro Aguayo Jr.
* Shocker

It just requires a few roster changes. If they let those guys fly (which is doubtful), you have awesomeness on your hands. Gregory Helms, Jamie Noble, Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore all have the WCW familiarity with each other; Super Crazy, Mistico, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Shocker are all luchadores; Guido and Funaki have shoot backgrounds; Noble could wrestle a MOTYC any day.

Fuck you, WWE. Fuck you for misusing talent.

Shocker is poo. Not familira with the other 2, but if they can work, then alright.

New version of what? I'm sorry, but whatever you're refering to I can't seem to remember that far back. These three mexican guys will form some awesome new stable that is completely unique.

You know what would be awesome? If they come out in lawnmowers and dressed in stereotypical Mexican clothes!

You know what I bet they do?

They have them come in as Cubans and be called the "Drifters".

None of those guys are all that great. Mystico is prolly the best of the 3.
