This was in Lance Storms Q and A section on his website....

Q: I've wondered for a long time why Val Venis has never really been pushed all that hard. He's been with WWE for years, is talented, has a good look, etc but he's almost always used as a jobber. Do you have any insight as to why he hasn't had any kind of a push in forever?

A: Val is one of those guys who are hampered by the fact that he never complains or politics for more of a push. He is well liked but gets lost in the shuffle because he is too nice.

He's not the only fan of Venis on these boards, you know. Just the only one campaigning for a Unified champion run.

I know, but its gotten to the point where all things Doug Basham and/or Val Venis just scream alienoid.

Alienoid is not Lance Storm, trust me. When Alienoid gets serious, it's for a HELL of a lot longer than a minute.

I wasn't saying that was the case. I was implying that Alienoid posted a question on Lance Storms Q and A

How could my joke work on that basis? :nono:

But Alienoid should start all posts with "If I can be serious for just a moment...." from now on

Actually, when Lance Storm is serious, he's thinking about Lex Luger's success. When Alienoid is serious, he's thinking about (insert any number of true life-long jobbers here)'s push.

You've gotta give him credit. Anyone who can recycle the same four angles to give anyone a championship with no-one noticing is clearly brilliant, even if his booking isn't.

Nah, that wasn't me. I appreciate the support Kane Knight, but I'm actually not lobbying for a World Title push, more a solid run in the mid-card with potential to move up over time. :p

I loved Val Venis when he was Captain Venis or whatever his name was when he was with Bischoff.

Was it Chief Of Staff, Sean Morley or something.

Although, Captain Venis could be some sort of Sci Fi gimmick for ECW. :(

Chief Morley.

Remember the PTA lol. Or PTC or whatever they were called?

Was Val, Ivory, Stevie and Tomko wasn't it?

Um, I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Right to Censor.

And you're close, it was Stevie, Val, Ivory, the Goodfather and Bull Buchanan.

The Goodfather was my favourite name change ever.

Nah, that wasn't me. I appreciate the support Kane Knight, but I'm actually not lobbying for a World Title push, more a Royal Rumble win with a ME at 'Mania against Doug Basham. :p

LOL, so true.
