Mr. McMahon has promised that the last Raw before WrestleMania will be the biggest one of all time. It is only fitting that the show will air live from Chicago, the home of last year’s WrestleMania.

With two huge main events, it looks like the show will live up to Mr. McMahon’s claims. World Tag Team Champions (and WrestleMania competitors) John Cena & Shawn Michaels will face World Heavyweight Champion Batista & Undertaker in a No Way Out rematch. Will the tenuous relationship between The WWE Champ & HBK stay intact?

At WrestleMania, Mr. McMahon’s representative Umaga will face Donald Trump’s representative Bobby Lashley in the Battle of the Billionaires. On Raw, Mr. McMahon himself will go one-on-one with the ECW World Champion. Does The Chairman have what it takes to topple the powerful Lashley?

As if two main events weren't big enough, Raw is going to get sexier than ever with the first-ever team-up of three Playboy cover girls - Ashley, Candice and Torrie - as they battle Women's Champion Melina, Victoria and Jillian. Word. It reminds me of WM 21 where they had to fill up 4 whole hours despite just 8 matches, two of them being short as hell and containing great segments such as Carlito getting stunned and Hulk Hogan beating up Hassan and Daivari all while a bunch of wrestlers participate in a meaningless battle royal that didn't even get aired.

Austin wants to tell a story about what happened to him over the weekend. A delivery guy apparently gave him tons of presents dealing with the outdoors. All of them were from Donald Trump apparently. I don't like opponents being in the same match in the weeks leading up to an event. You didn't see Hogan and Piper vs Andre and Adonis the week before WrestleMania 3. You didn't see Flair and Justice vs Hogan and Savage the week before WrestleMania 8.

It takes away the novelty of two rivals meeting for the first time (or at least the first time in a long time) at the big event.

Six Person Tag: The Playmates vs. The Chicks We Want To See in Playboy....and Jillian Hall: The Women's Title match at WM is now a Lumberjack Match. Remember when Torrie and Candice beat the snot out of Ashley when she first started out? Neither do they apparently. Melina and Ashley start it out but Melina bails. Back in she gets rolled up for a two. Victoria gets the tag, Candice comes in for a spinning wheel kick and some Go Daddy action. Melina cheap shots Candice and she plays Playmate-in-peril for a while. Jillian with a hair toss and a slam. Cartwheel leg drop misses. Hot tag to Ashley who opens up on Jillian followed up with a head scissors. Hurricanrana on Victoria. Jillian breaks up a beat down on Melina. Handspring elbow gets countered and Ashley finishes with a victory roll. Bret Hart would be proud. Match rating: 1/2* I miss Trish and Lita.

This is something I pretty much agree with. I CAN see the tag matches occasionally, but the time that the opponents get to scrap in the ring should be limited at best.

Although they seem to be wrestling in a manner to get rid of tension. Kenny with a chin lock and a reverse elbow for two. Clotheslines get another two. Neckbreaker for another two. Punk's at least over in his hometown. Another chin lock as Kenny seems to be studying Orton matches for source material. Punk takes over. Springboard clothesline and some knees into a bulldog for two. Fireman's carry into a drop on the knee gives Punk the win. I'd call it the Go 2 Sleep but that's not what it's called here so tough. Match rating: 1/2*

Edge rambles about his one great moment glory when he cashed in his title shot. Edge goes on about his ladder match victories and wonders why the others think they can win. Matt talks about his own ladder match experience. Cheap shot at Lita which is cheaper than cheap considering she doesn't even work for them anymore. Booker T's next and he denounces the others for not reigning like he has. Finlay interrupts and claims he's tired of the talking. He dares Edge to start something. Orton grabs the mic and questions Edge's manliness. Kennedy opens his mouth next and does his usual crap. Even Edge makes fun of him. Jeff is next for some mockery. Jeff promises to steal the show. Interviews really aren't really the strong point for some of these guys. Last but not least is the Punk-meister. Edge has some addictions that are different than Punk's...including running his mouth. That triggers a brawl that Edge is more than happy to not take part of. I was wondering when they'd start building the Money In the Bank match. Good stuff: B

Tell me how is Punk/KENTA different than anyone else out there?

Jake Roberts started using the DDT, then everyone else started using it while Jake was still wrestling. It didn't diminish Jake using it, people still went crazy for him using the DDT.

I can make other examples with the figure-four and the piledriver.

And besides how many casual fans ever heard of KENTA? How many of them will ever hear of him? Slim to none.

If Punk doesn't use the GO2SLEEP then someone else will start using it. And it would probably be someone like Funaki or Torrie Wilson. At least Punk is over and gets airtime, he gets to showcase that move on a larger scale where KENTA couldn't.

It's not like KENTA is going to lose work because Punk is using his finisher.

It would be more homage than anything, and even then, Punk may not have been the one to choose to start using the move. I can very easily see the "producers" telling him to do it, because he has the whole martial arts gimmick going on.

Jake Roberts started using the DDT, then everyone else started using it while Jake was still wrestling. It didn't diminish Jake using it, people still went crazy for him using the DDT.

I can make other examples with the figure-four and the piledriver.

What would happen is they make him stop using his combo and finish for something else. Once more he's less likely to ever get considered because "they already have one of those."

This likely wouldn't be such an issue if he wasn't stealing so much from ONE guy. A thing here, and a thing there. Cool. Pillaging his move set? Shitty. As an independent contractor I know I have to offer something unique to get work. If some goes around doing the same things as I do, on larger mediums, this will effectivly STOP me from getting work anywhere. People wont pay to see some guy do the things they saw Tuesday. KENTA is just lucky he was previously established in the states before this happened.

Back from the break, for those who love Vince or those who just turned in, more of Lashley's loss and Vince talking about Lashley's loss. Vince calls in Eugene dressed as Donald Trump. He makes fun of the baldness and drives off.

Match time with more separated roster goodness! Randy Orton and Ken Kennedy vs. The Hardys: I've noticed they don't spell it with the 'z' anymore. It's just not the same. Orton and Matt start out. Elbow drop from the top gets a two for Matt. Jeff in getting a two off a dropkick. Orton drags Jeff to his corner and tags Kennedy in. Kennedy's all about the beat down but Jeff comes back with a headscissors. Kennedy gives him the old "bar counter" treatment by tossing him outside. Heel shenanigans makes Jeff the face-in-peril. Kennedy tries a super back drop but Jeff turns that into a Whisper in the Wind. Orton gets tagged in while Matt gets the not-so hot tag. Bulldog/clothesline combo. Side Effects for both the heels. Kennedy breaks up a Twist of Fate. It all breaks down as Jeff goes for Poetry in Motion but fails to connect on Orton. Orton finishes Matt with an RKO. As long as a guy gets a good introduction, a strong push and a winning character, a secret history as a jobber becomes a forgotten thing of the past.

The thing is, squash matches aren't done well anymore. When they're done they seem more like a detriment to the squashed instead of a benefit for the squasher. Dykstra and Eugene have both beened jobbed out since the beginning of their solo career, which is why they don't have a finisher.
