What do you guys think should be the order of the Matches at Mania?

Which Title Match will be at the end? You would think Taker/Tisa since Taker won the Rumble but they may go with Cena/HBK or with the stupidness WWE has shown recently may put the Battle of the Billionaires last.

List of Matches:

Money in the Bank
ECW Originals vs. The New Breed
U.S. Title: Chris Benoit vs. MVP
WWE Women's Title: Lumberjack Match: Melina vs. Ashley
Kane vs. The Great Khali
Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga
World Heavyweight Title: Batista vs. The Undertaker
WWE Title: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels

I will do my order later.

Opener: match yet to be added

2. MITB match. (seems to fit best in the second place ie 05/06)

3. tag match to be added.

4. US title match: Benoit vs MVP

5. Kane vs Khali

6. Battle of the Billionaires: Umaga vs Lashley. This is a big payoff but I predict it to be in the middle of the card since theres 2 other big matches and they won't want to wear the crowd out with all of them in a row.

7. ECW originals vs New Breed (I predict it will be made extreme rules tonight) I'd put this later in the card instead of Kane vs Khali because it'd be strange for Kane vs Khali to come between 2 hoss battles.

8. Undertaker vs Batista

9. Lumberjill match. Yes the second to last match, just to calm the crowd and appetize them for the main event.

10. HBK vs Cena

Batista/Taker and HBK/Cena could easily be switched, especially if they plan to do something that would warrant a riot. Also, in the rare event an Edge swirve is planned I'd assume it'd take place last to end the night. But right now I think it's a safe bet to assume Raw will close the show once again.

I'm gonna go ahead and throw in my predictions too.

Opener: US Title Match
Chris Benoit (c) vs. MVP
Winner: MVP

Next: 8-Man Tag Match
ECW Originals vs. ECW New Breed
Winner: ECW New Breed, more specifically Elijah Burker via pinfall over Sabu.

Next: MITB Match
Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Finlay vs. Booker T vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy vs. CM Punk
Winner: Edge

Next: Battle of the big SOB's
Kane vs. The Great Khali
Winner: Draw, via brawl that wanders aimlessly around the arena.

Next: Women's Title Clusterf*ck, I mean, Lumberjill Match
Ashley vs. Melina (c)
Winner: Ashley

Next: Battle of the nobody-really-cares
Bobby Lashley w/ Trump vs. Umaga w/ McMahon
Winner: Bobby Lashley

Smackdown Main Event: World Heavyweight Title Match
Batista (c) vs. The Undertaker
Winner: The Undertaker

Raw Main Event: WWE Title Match
John Cena (c) vs. Shawn Michaels
Winner: Shawn Michaels

Who do you think will fill that? Maybe work something out with Carlito/ Flair/ Nitro? maybe a #1 Contender for IC?

U.S. Title: Chris Benoit vs. MVP
Pretty much the obvious curtain jerker

ECW Originals vs. The New Breed
Kane vs. The Great Khali
These could be interchangable

WWE Women's Title: Lumberjack Match: Melina vs. Ashley
Because everything else is higher up

Money in the Bank
Has to go before the title matches for "just in case" purposes

WWE Title: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels
Less likely to result in a title change

Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga
A main event but not THE main event

World Heavyweight Title: Batista vs. The Undertaker
As far as I remember, every WM since the roster split has ended with the match featuring the Royal Rumble winner.

Rey's win wasn't the last match?

No.

It was Cena/HHH.

Well damn.

World Heavyweight Title: Batista vs. The Undertaker
As far as I'm concerned, every WM done with a split roster should end with the match featuring the Royal Rumble winner. To do otherwise is stupid and demeans the Royal Rumble/#1 Contender spot concept.

I will be pissed off if Taker/Batista doesn't headline.

I'll be honest, I'm more excited about Michaels/Cena... but if kinda spits on Smackdown and the point of the Royal Rumble if the Smackdown Rumble winner isn't in the main event 2 years in a row.

Neither one of the main events or championship belts means anything until they're merged. So they can put whichever last and it's still a problem because one "main event" gets slapped in the face.

WWE never has a problem spitting on Smackdown. I don't like it, but it's the truth.

1. ECW Originals v.s The New Breed
2. Khali v.s Kane
3. Ashley v.s Melina
4. Benoit/MVP
5. MITB
6. Cena/HBK
7. Battle of the Billionaires
8. Undertaker/Batista (because of the rumble)

There is absolutely no chance that Batista/Taker is the last match.

I'd say it's more important than HBK/Cena because of Taker's streak.

Put it this way: It'll be the main event if Cena retains. If Michaels beats Cena that will be the main event.

You have complete logic, and if wrestling was logical - I'd be agreeing with you to the point of bandwagons.

But Batista/Taker is going to be a bad match, period. Everyone knows Batista is a terrible worker, and not even Taker can drag a match out of his ass.

Does a bad match ever stop them from doing ANYTHING? I mean, really? They moved Khali over to RAW even though they were bitching about having to edit all his matches.

To be fair, Kahli has had one match on raw (that I remember) and that ended in stupidity. WWE is still going to push SuperCena as their ultra-face and #1 draw in the company. As over as Taker is, and as much as he is the biggest god-damned babyface in the company - Taker doesn't sell the Fake Spinner Belts, and he doesn't main event RAW every week.

But Cena/Michaels has John Cena, everyone's FAVORITE wrestler.

My Order

1) U.S. Title: Chris Benoit vs. MVP- Obvious first match. Get the crowd movin.
2) MITB- Always liked it in the 2 spot so why change it now?
3) Kane vs Khali- keeping it away from the other Hoss match this seems like a nice spot for it to go
4) ECW Originals vs. The New Breed -meh
5) Lashley vs Umaga- 1st of the Big matches but the least likely to be a memorable match
6) Hall of Fame Segment- Say this is a good place right after the hair shaving debacle
7) World Title Match- Batista vs Taker- Even though Rumble winner. This match won't be last and if rumors are true I am right.
8) Woman's Title- has to go somewhere. Put here to cool down crowd between
9)WWE Title: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels- Can they go 2 years in a row with Cena going over a DX member? I dunno. Shawns known for pulling great matches out of people but we shall see.

it has been confirmed that Cena/HBK will be the Main Event. Batista said so, on an article in SI. Here's more of what Batista had to say..
