So last night I watched Impact because I was hurting for a wrestling fix. This time of year I always get a little excited. Watching TNA was a bit of a let down, but I gotta admit, there was ONE diamond in that rough, one man who made that hour not a waste...

Eric Young.
He's the best TNA has to offer. Sting, Abbys, Bob Backlund, Kip Sopp, Cristy Hemme.... None of them compare with Eric Young.

Eric Young is the goods! :y: He along with Nash make TNA passable in my books.

So what's the story line with him being owned by Some Rude guy?

He got fired, after a long gimmick of him being scared he was going to lose his job with the collapse of Team Canada. (The birth of "Don't Fire Eric" gimmick) He then was brought in as Roode's assistant or something...truthfully I missed a few weeks of TNA and don't know exactly. But Roode has his contract or something.

So what's the story line with him being owned by Some Rude guy?
"Recently, the "Paranoid Pied Piper of TNA" was challenged to a bikini contest by Roode's associate Traci Brooks. Eric accepted and beat Ms. Brooks in a bikini contest at the Turning Point 2006 pay-per-view on December 10, 2006, by wearing a Spongebob Squarepants bikini. Eric Young continued his feud with Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks with Ms. Brooks trying to get Young to join Robert Roode Inc. Finally, at Against All Odds 2007 Ms. Brooks successfully seduced Young into signing a contract with "Robert Roode Inc."

Chris Daniels must not have been on last night.
He attacked Jerry Lynn backstage.

All > TNA Announcers

Seriously, they sold Lynn doing 5 hip tosses like he had just won a 60 minute iron man unification match for the X-Division and NWA Championships.

The Nash stuff ended, he's gone again, but probably still getting paid to do nothing. And Shelley's new hair was enough of a change that I didn't know it was him until the announcers mentioned it. Bad change.

Nash is working with Sonjay Dutt(god I hate him) and Jay Lethal who is now a clone of the Macho Man
