Now, I know that Kane Knight made a thread about cover songs a few months back. But that was about covers that you thought outdid the original. This is about your favorite cover songs in general. Not necessarily better. Just enjoyable. I will share a few of my own.

Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen)
Ben Folds - Bitches Ain't Shit (Dr. Dre)
Children of Bodom - The Final Countdown (Europe)
Dead Kennedys - Viva Las Vegas (Elvis Presley)
Quicksand - How Soon Is Now? (The Smiths)
Ryan Adams - Wonderwall (Oasis)
Sun Kil Moon - Ocean Breathes Salty (Modest Mouse)

i thought the flaming lips cover of queen's bohemian rhapsody was REALLY CLOSE.

but the deftones cover of weezer's say it aint so was MUCH better than the original.

almost forgot, limp bizkits cover of Michael's Faith was really good and outdid the original by a large margin.

Yes. Download that shit. Or I'll send it to you. Whatever you want.

And yes, All Along The Watchtower was a Bob Dylan song, and you'll notice it made my list of great covers.

All along the Watchtower is a Dylan song.. The Dylan version is more of a folky storytelling song.. Hendrix made it an anthem..
