I just checked out www.wweshopzone.com and apparently, for the first time WWE's live webcast will be available to Britain. It costs $17.95, which is roughly £10.30. Cheaper than what it would have been on Sky Box Office.

Personally, I still think I'll download it a day or two after the event, as I wouldn't trust a webcast and I still don't want to spend a tenner on a WWE PPV, but its an option if anyone's wants to see it live.

I don't know why people are getting all arsey about it anyways. If you can afford £15 for a PPV then chances are you probably have a job and need to get up on Monday mornings anyway so you can't see the show. And if you aren't getting up at that time then you probably don't have a job and shouldn't be wasting your money on piss like this anyways.

Sky Box Office wouldn't be so bad if they went back to actually letting us tape the PPV's.

I don't understand this problem. I have ALWAYS been able to tape PPV. Maybe you have to pull out the modem cable or some shit.

I always tape a copy of the PPV for a mate who hasn't got Sky Sports and the Sky Box Office ones always work for me. Movies don't, but I've always found WWE PPVs did.

--EDIT-- But then, I haven't bought one since Royal Rumble 2003, I gave Backlash a miss and downloaded Vengeance.

Well, at least you have some sort option. I've heard that if you don't get a good feed (say your connection dies or something) you can get a refund. Oh well.

I've watched about 5 ppvs over the webcast this year, and it isn't so bad. Sometimes there are connection problems and you miss a little bit, but that's just the original live broadcast. When you order it you get the original live broadcast plus you can watch it on video on demand for like a week after it. So if you miss anything the first time around you can watch it again later without the screwups. I'm gonna be busy on Sunday Night this time so I think I'll just order it Monday so I can still see it before Raw.

Anyway, back to the point, this isn't a bad alternative for those of you in the UK. It just sucks if you guys usually get it for free and now you have to pay for a lower quality version.

For the last time... WE DON'T GET THEM FOR FREE!!! Sky Sports is a subscribtion channel so you have to pay extra just for that and the other 4 PPVs are added PPVs. £40 a month subs plus £15 for 4 more PPVs = £540 a year! Dunno U.S ppv prices but do they compare to this?

Would you pay for a WWE ppv if you had to watch it at 1am Sunday night/Monday morning?
