Sideshow Bob, for me. Kelsey Grammer should play an evil maniac more often.

I'd have to say Chief Wiggum. He everybodys favorite Cop.

I'd say Homer Simpson is everybody's favorite cop.

And that's the end of that chapter.

I think Lisa is a very underated character, she's one of the funniest IMO, some of the funniest moments on the show involved her.

My favorite character is the Grandpa.

This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make. :'(

Depending on my mood, I would eventually pick from any one of the following:

Krusty, Moe, Mr. Burns, Lionel Hutz (AKA Miguel Sanchez, AKA Dr. Nguyen Van Falk), Sideshow Bob, Principal Skinner, Lenny and Carl (they are inextricable as an entity, dammit), or Superintendent Chalmers.

I think he means your favourite regular character outside the family, since few people who watch the show don't have a Simpson as their favourite overall character.

And yes, Abe is probably the most amazing old person on TV, with Professor Farnsworth not far behind.

Oh yeah, he did play a cop. As well as many other practices.

Oh in that case it would have to be Chief Wiggum or his son I can't decide.

Haha yes, Ralph is immense. Funny, he didn't even cross my mind when I was thinking of mine. Ralph, for me, is one of those characters who was hilarious - everything he did and said was great (case in point, 'I bent my wookie'), but because of that, everybody started quoting him. And quoting him. And quoting him. And saying that they'd 'eated the purple berries', and that their 'cat's breath smells like cat food' and suddenly Ralph had kinda been ruined for me. :-\

Which is a shame, because

Ralph: Ms. Hoover, there's a dog in the vent.
Ms. Hoover: Ralph, remember the time you said you saw Snagglepuss outside?
Ralph: He was going to the bathroom. :(

is probably one of the greatest exchanges between a student and their teacher.

Think it might be a tie between Sideshow Bob and Troy McClure for me.

It's a shame they stopped doing them. I mean, I understand why (It's hard to continue when the guy who did it was such a signature voice, and is now dead). It still sucks.

Bill and Marty from KBBL are underrated IMO. Also I have no idea what his name is but the old guy with the mustache who has about 5000 different jobs but always has some hilarious wisecrack to make is great. Cletus Del Roy Spuckler should get a mention as well.

Some of the best characters of the whole show are only on an episode or two. Homer's assistant Karl, Hank Scorpio, Frank Grimes, John the collectibles shop owner, come to mind. I hope they get worked into the movie somehow. Especially Karl.

I wonder what happened to old Grimey....

Anyway, that's why I said recurring. People like Scorpio are cool (Loved the criminal mastermind cum businessman), but not what I was looking for.

There's this guy who I havent' seen in ages who kind of has a long face, I think a blue shirt and a tie. He's been in a few episodes and only says something like "Don't touch me" or just punches somebody and walks away. I can't for the life of me think of a specific episode that he's in or if he even has a name.

The guy at the cracker factory that fires Kirk Van Houten.

"Crackers are a family food. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Quite frankly, we don't wanna know. It's a market we could do without. We're gonna have to let you go"

-"so after all those years this is it? So long good luck?"
