I just read on msn.com that they're pulling it as part of Viacom's zero tolerance policy. Janet's titty has really shaken things up. Some big wig was saying something like "it's offensive to women, blacks and has no place on our programming.

Frankly, Stern could be pretty damn entertaining sometimes. I think Viacom is going overboard with this.

It's offensive to blacks and women, but MTV isn't?

Ok maybe I'm totally out of the loop here, but how was Stern involved with that at all??

Or is this just the aftermath of it all, and since he has a "racy" show, he's getting cut?

Whatever the case is, please God let next year's Superbowl be about the football.

Oh and yeah, offensive to blacks WTF :wtf:

Maybe they're saying it as an apology... "We are sorry to give you the assumption that all black women are this ugly", or something.

Don and Mike were forced to tone down their show last week. They were suspended 2 weeks without pay after the word "bullsh</>it" got out on the air. Understandable but this is getting rediculous with the rules they have to abide by now (Nothing that would be considered "arguably offensive").

I love watching Howard's show on E! He's pretty entertaining. So he's not fired or anything right? He'll end up somewhere else I hope.

It didn't specify. They just said they were axing it as part of a zero tolerance policy.

I'll try and find the article.

My bad, I shouldn't post these things when I'm dead tired. It's only "in some markets". :o

Yeah. Apparently there are a few different companies that syndicate the show and one of them has pulled it. I couldn't listen to the radio show around here anyway so I don't really care.

Their ratings will decline and they'll put him, them, or someone similar back on. Of course by then most people will have forgotten all about this incident of hypocracy.

I just heard that on tv a few minutes ago and I also heard that they will be cutting down on what radio stations say and do. Well if you live here in Houston or near it then if youve ever listened to Rock 101 then you know that they will be told something.

People need to protest.

Either that or just give the "warning" of the content before the show.

This is bullshit.

clear Channel will no longer broadcast it on their stations.

Since they own so much of both TV and radio markets, this is pretty bad.

Reminds me of Bill Maher. they ax Politically incorrect, then piss and moan that they can't get good ratings on naything else.
