View Full Version : Wrestlers who were at least moderately successful after wrestling...
So, who are some wrestlers that were at least moderately successful after wrestling while still in the public eye (Sports, TV, Movies, etc)?
The only ones I can think of are Jesse Ventura (Governor) and The Rock (movies).

Hogan
I can't think of anything besides arguably Hogan's reality show that was moderately successful. I guess he does technically count, but is there anything besides the reality show?
And for the record, yes, I'm saying Hogan didn't have a successful TV/Movie career in the past.

You could count DDP too since he's been in a few movies. And Austin as well I suppose.

FOLEY"S GETTING A REALITY SHOW?!?!?
Piper and DDP had to go back to wrestling. Hogan would be forgotten had he not gone back. Austin still had a tiny chance of a career without wrestling but it's unlikely.
Jericho could easy never go back and be a sucess. Rock is obviously a star on his own. Same for Ventura. Brock Lesnar had potential to be 10 times a bigger star in MMA than he ever was in wrestling.
At the end of the day, it comes down to what you call being moderately successful. Being happy and earning a good living is enough for most people.

Chyna is a mess but she is still in the 'public eye' on these shitty reality shows if you want to call that moderately successful.

How dare you? Did you not watch Thunder in Paradise, The Secret Agent Club, Santa with Muscles, Assault on Devil's Island, McCinsey's Island, 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, Shadow Warriors II: Hunt for the Death Merchant or Muppets from Space? All of which were televisual feats unrivalled by any other actor past, present or future. [/Brutus Beefcake]
On a side note, I love IMDB.com!!!
