Helmsphere returns here with the 2nd day into the revival of Rate The Wrestler, and the support that it got suprised me, not saying the first one wasn't successful, just I honestly had my doubts if it could even live in today's TPWW where everything is shitted on, laughed at, called over-rated, or BDC Approved, which of course, like the original, this one isn't.

Anyways, A.J Styles got regraded after his amazing 89 performance in the original RTW, however the results just wasn't the same, as he dropped 18 points from his original score, as he scored an 71 this time around, between the two RTW, he has an overall score of 80, which isn't to shabby. However just not to cause confusion.

AJ Styles scored an 71 yesterday.

Anyways, Styles was always my pick to be the person to re-debut the RTW, however today wrestler was mentioned to me by an friend to be the person to start it off, however I felt doing so, may of caused this thread not to be taken seriously, but Today Wrestler is Chris Benoit.

Due to Lord Of Darkness idea, I have choosen not to reveal Chris Benoit score from last time, of course, if you really want to know it, It will be posted on Day 3, or if you really really want to know it, it can be found simply by trying to search for it.

Now the reason why today wrestler is Chris Benoit, because I'm curious to see, if the Whole Benoit Family, Double Murder/Suicide has really affected our views on the man who was considered to be one of the top workers in the world, now while I know that the events that happened earier this year will be looked upon and will be somewhat counted in your votes, Please do not base your votes strictly upon the incident!!!

He lost a tenth of a point for everyone he killed, but other than that he was one of the greatest ever.

Ring Ability: 10 - Chris Benoit was known as one of the greatest mat wrestlers in the entire world, and will be given the Holy 10 for this category, Chris Benoit was the guy who could pull anyone to an good match, Key Word is Almost Anyone, When I first started Wrestling again, so reason I found myself being an big Chris Benoit fan, don't know what caused it, considering I wasn't in tune with the whole good worker deal, and of course, He wasn't being pushed heavily, or even made to be an big deal, I remember him and Dean Malenko teaming together in WCW on an episode of Thunder, and then DDP coming out, wanting Benoit to challenge him for the United States title, But since then I realized what it meant to work an match, and Benoit knew how to do that.

Overness: 8.5 - Benoit was never really the main guy in the company even thru he held the World Heavyweight Title for 4 Months before losing it to Randy Orton, during that time he was always overshadow by the then HBK v. Triple H feud, And after he lost the title, it just never seemed he would get it back, as he was never really in an position to, except to get title shots in the Elimination Chamber, He just really had the whole Upper Mid Card feel to him.

Archivements: 9 - From winning the J-Cup in Japan, to being an ECW Tag Champion, it took Benoit 3 years to finally win an Title in WCW, even thru it was briefly with the Tag Team Titles (note. I know he won the Television Title a few time on house shows, but I'm not going to count theses) He pretty much held every title in WCW, and with the exception of the WWE Title and Cruiserweight, He held every single title in the company, including his memorable win versus Triple H at Wrestlemania XX, The WWE may be trying to make us, forget you even existed, and hopefully this thread since a Big Fuck you to them for doing so.

Work Rate:9 - At one time this was an 10, however Benoit was obvious falling off in his later days, possibly due to issues that were finally made clear to us.

Mic Work/Charisma: 6.5 - Sadly this was Benoit only fault and maybe the reason why he was never the Top Guy in the company.

Finisher: 8 - The Crippler Crossface should now be known as the most dangerous move in all of sports, granted it has killed someone, But in all seriousness, With the exception of the Sharpshooter and The Figure Four, it will go done as the most well known of all submission moves.

My Overall Rating for Chris Benoit - 8.5

A tragic end to a truely great wrestler. He remains one of my all time favourites and his actions will not affect the 10/10 his abilty deserves.
