According to HDTV news website EngadgetHD, WWE will finally be rolling out a major Pay-Per-View event in high-definition next month. This will be the first ever WWE broadcast in HD.
Time Warner Cable will offer WWE's Royal Rumble PPV event in HD when it airs on January 27, 2008. The show will air in 1080i resolution.
A high-definition WWE PPV comes 12 months after the Ultimate Fighting Championship aired its first HD PPV.
