It's not secret that TNA will pick up a lot of guys it does not need, and that it is a waste of their limited resources. If TNA hired you to clean up their roster, what kind of cuts would you make?

Personally, my list would look something like:

Don West
Black Reign
Kip James
BG James
Scott Steiner
Rick Steiner
Brother Ray
Brother Devon
Judas Mesias
Raven (as an active wrestler, replaces Don West as TNA's colour commentator)

No real surprises in there.

I'd keep Scott Steiner and let him loose around the arena.

BG James
Black Reign
Elix Skipper
Johnny Devine
Judas Mesias
Kip James
Lance Hoyt
Rellik
Rick Steiner
Scott Steiner
Sonjay Dutt, twice
Jeff Jarrett
Dutch Mantel
Vince Russo

Raven (as an active wrestler, replaces Don West as TNA's colour commentator)

That would be awesome, and moreso if he goes back to his Johnny Polo character.

BG James
Black Reign
Elix Skipper
Johnny Devine
Karen Angle
Kevin Nash
Kip James
Lance Hoyt
Rellik (That's killer spelled backwards)
Shark Boy
Sharmell

I'm only keeping Rick Steiner because I actually liked the Steiner brothers. Looks like Scott is solo again. if that's the case, cut Rick Stiner.

Elix Skipper popped into my head for a while, and I think I actually would make the cut there. I love Elix, and he had a great spot in a Lockdown match, and he has more potential than what TNA have done with him, but you can't pay bills with potential. I think the money being paid to Skipper could be used to just help TNA get a bit more out of the red, while his TV time can be used to give more folk time to get over.

Austin Creed is another guy I would trim loose. He has some talent, but he's nothing phenomenal to the point where he needs to be brought and room made for him at the expense of others. Sorry, Austin, it's back to bastardised NWA for you.

I can't believe I missed Sharmell. I'd cut her, and to keep Booker T happy, I'd sign on his PWA promotion as a development system, of sorts, for TNA. While Christopher Daniels is off with his current angle, he could help train guys there. D'Lo Brown is also working as an agent with TNA, and could easily be sent to PWA to help out.

Lance Hoyt is one I am often contemplating, but I think his team with Jimmy Rave is enough fun at the moment to give him a pass. When it is time for Rave to move on, though, Hoyt better really improve on the mic or in the ring, though.
