Just saw this today on DVD. It ****ing rules.
From IMDB: Plot Outline: A Lower East Side teen-ager struggles to find some sanity while surrounded by an eccentric grandmother, a crazy new girlfriend, and a longing younger brother.
Ebert gave it a good review, saying, "I loved this movie" and calling it one of the best of the year last year. Also, it got accepted to Sundance and Cannes.
It's just good, realistic shit. The actors are all like "real people" and the acting is amazing. I dunno, it's entertaining.
CHECK IT OUT IF YOU CAN.
