I have been tryin to remember a couple of wrestlers who came from Japan to WCW.

1) I remember when NWO Japan first showed up I remember Jericho repeatingly having to wrestle some "Sumo" champ from Japan who came in and ripped off a WCW shirt and had an NWO one underneath. Dose anyone remember who that was? I just remember this as odd because Jericho was still a cruiserweight at the time and you put him in there with a 350-400 pounder :?:

2) The other wrestler I am trying to remember is when the Jung Dragons were feuding with 3 Count and 3 Count in a "brilliant" move brang in Tank Abbot as an enforcer so the Dragons brang in one of there own. I want to say it was The Great Kabuki or The Great Muta but I'm not quite sure. Dose anyone remember that wrestler?

I don't recall, but looking over the NWO Japan roster, my only real guess would be Hiro Saito.... The only person I remember ripping off a WCW shirt to show an NWO one was Chono though.

Nah, NWO Japan was literally an NJPW branch of Japan, with only a few members who actually showed up in WCW. It was a good group though, and it later branched off into It happened early in the incarnation of the NWO when Chono/Muta were in it.

The guy who kicked Jericho's ass was Chono. Which shows the logic of WCW as Chono was never over 300 pounds. Was never even fat for gods sake. But he has slanted eyes so he must be categorized as either a samarai, sumo, or ninja.

I remember seeing him and thinkin well this guy is kinda big but he's not "sumo" big. Then again it was WCW calling him a sumo makes as much sense as taking an accomplished MMA fighter and having him try to sing with cruserweights :shifty:
