i like his work with the smiths better than his solo stuff, but he is amazing. puts on a great live show.

he is pretty ridiculous with the things he does and says and is a bit of a wanker, however "it's not like any other love, this one is different because it's us" is the best line of any song ever, absolutely fucking genius.

I always feel like listening to The Smiths when I feel like shit and it always makes me feel way better.

But then, if I am feeling OK I can't listen to them at all because it will make me feel like absolute shit. Like I associate the music with feeling depressed as fuck and it brings me down.
