-- The WWE Magazine Yearbook 2008 issue was released this past Tuesday. On Randy Orton's page, they wrote: "With all of the top Raw talent gunning for him, 2008 will be the toughest year of Orton's career. There are even rumors that a certain Deadman would like to come to Raw and inflict some immortal punishment on the self-proclaimed Legend Killer." :shifty:

This made me laugh a little...I'll admit.

To give this thread a little more "substance" however, I do ponder the following question:

We all know how much of a big deal is being made that "HBK was the one to RETIRE Flair."

In my opinion, it should also be made a big deal as to WHO finally retires the Undertaker.

In fact - I'm calling it: Next year at Wrestlemania - we'll see Undertaker vs. John Cena in the main-event.

I don't see Taker ever losing his streak.

Not that it matters anymore, since nobody's worth putting over with it and he's slowly losing relevance.

Couple of things:

1) I agree that Taker's streak at Mania will never be ended (nor should it). Still - there are a lot of dumb fans out there. If these fans can atleast be lead to believe that Taker's streak MIGHT be ended...then it could draw. Since Cena, like Taker, has also been made to look like god, then a Cena/Taker match at Mania could definitely draw some interest (with Taker winning in the end). After that - I still think Cena could be the guy to officially "end" Taker's career.

2) Although I agree that no one may be 'worthy" enough to finish Taker right now (in terms of an up-coming wrestler REALLY getting due to finishing Taker's career), I still think there would be a HUGE relevance attached to that. However - it's just a matter of finding the right guy to do that.

I just have a feeling HBK vs. Taker next year @ Mania is almost a lock. Unfortunately so is Taker winning.

The Undertaker's streak should end at WrestleMania, and I think that it will. I'm of the train of thought subscribing to Taker vs. HBK next year, with Michaels talking about retiring Flair one year, and ending the streak the next.

I don't think Benoit was a bad man he made a silly mistake and there was no referee when his son tapped out. I think if there had been he'd be ok now. But his achievements warrant HOF induction regardless. Scot hall shot and killed a man and got him. Benoit was on roids so incapable of knowing right from wrong and no ref.

They should do a re-make of Altered Beast for the new consoles and PC.
