Was flicking through the tv channels the other night and came across this show. How fucking good is it??

I went and purchased the first season box set and have just finished watching.

Seriously, anyone who hasn't seen this show do yourself a favour and get hold of it. :y::y:

The British one is kinda like Rules of Attraction but as a series. Hit and miss for me to be honest, a lot of it is pretty good fun, but there's also a lot of forced humour designed to make 13 year olds split their side which just completely lets it down.

ct2k, sorry mate but ROA is so far above what skins could ever be. ROA is fucking awesome. Skins really really wants to be like ROA, just it really doesn't come close. I can see what the writers tried to do, but it really misses the mark.

What pissed me off most was the swearing, I mean I watch the Wire and the Sopranos so I have no problem with it when its appropriate, but in Skins it just seems to be part of the humour to have an adult character swear repeatedly in an inappropriate situation in a slightly posh estuary accent...I mean is that what its come to?
