This was the best part of that horrible angle .

Hah, remember when the crowd chanted "Asshole" instead of today's "You suck"?

I always wondered why they stopped chanting "asshole"

The question is, is it more offensive to be told you look like someone's backside or to insinuate that you suck dick.

That entire video was worth it to see Tazz shut Heyman up.

Sadly it's all pretty true. Especially today. :(

I remember this, but didnt sound so shootish when i watched it cos of all the "your kids hate you too" and "this sunday...." and the way it ended.

BTW, I wish Taz would wrestle again :( Just a few more as I didn't get to see him much in WWF as I jsut got plain bored around the time after he debuted (I think). Argh, I'm getting old.

If you "just got plain bored" with WWE in 2000 (arguably its creative peak) then God help you today.

It was aroun 2001 I stopped. I don't really know. Don't remember. I know Taz didn't barely wrestle much at all. The build up was awesome. I knew who he was, but everyone else was like wtf is he? - Great days when only about 6people I knew had the internet.

Tazz debuted with a bang, then the Radicalz arrived just a week or so later and took all the novelty out of him. He went down with an injury soon after. His lone highlight of his face run, save his debut, was a match vs Triple H on SmackDown, WWE Champion vs ECW Champion (which he naturally lost).

He turned heel on Rikishi later in the year, and had a fun low-card feud with Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross later in the year (teaming with the newly arrived Raven). But he didn't factor into anything important at all.

When I think about it...Joey Styles shoot/worked shoot or whatever you wanna call it got my attention more than Heyman's did

The part at the end where he removes the "WWE" box from the microphone is classic. I love the entire "shoot" promo.

Yeah, I still don't get why everyone calls this a "shoot." Yeah, it's about real stuff and all, but it's miles away from being a pure shoot.

NeanderCarl

Well, it was presented as a shoot, AKA a "worked shoot". So that's why.

Plus, I doubt it was scripted anyway. Heyman probably had carte blanche to say what he wanted, he went even further but some of the stuff he said was cut before broadcast.
