In no way in this a good idea, wait 10-20 years for Hollywood to make a new one ala Indiana Jones, and of course we will see The Boy Wonder

Anyone but Robin really

Whats the point? They've spent two movies developing this version of Batman that doesnt really fit with it right now

I think Catwoman really strikes a better chord. And theres the villians. You try to bring in more characters and it becomes a clusterfuck.

I say no way, and have complete faith that its not going to happen

IGN ran a pretty good article on the subject:

Honestly, I wouldn't mind it.

As much as people don't want to admit it, Robin is every bit of a crucial part of the Batman mythology as the Joker or Jim Gordon. Bruce taking on a student not only shows him stepping up into the role of 'master' or whatever, but also shows his dedication to his war on crime by making sure it wouldn't just end if he ever died. Plus, it gives him another source to straighten him out when things get out of hand, having to learn by making sure he's teaching the right things, instead of just having Alfred come in and play Aunt May for a third movie.

As for how Robin himself would fit into the 'dark-and-gritty' Nolan movies, I highly suggest the characterization from Dark Victory. He's a wound-up knot of undirected anger, and Bruce takes him in and trains him so Dick can get the revenge on his family's killer that Bruce never got. Using that sort of theme as a basis, I think adding Robin would fit right in, as long as they let him wear pants this time.

The point's moot, however. Both Nolan and Bale have said on several occasions that they will never let Robin into the series.

Shia Labouf, in the storyline where Jason Todd appears to be killed by the Joker.

I just really want someone to fucking kill Shia Labouf. Fucking queer.

Only if they kill him in the same movie. Batman should keep losing people close to him (his parents in BB, Rachel in TDK), and by bringing in the kid and then having him die in the same movie it would be added emphasis on why he has to be Batman. Or maybe Robin gets put into a coma and awakens at the end and Bruce decides he has to keep training before he can continue his path to becoming a hero.

That way we would only see Robin "in action" once, and he would get knocked the fuck out. No way could a 12-13 year old kid beat up adults in a Chris Nolan film. It just wouldn't work.

I said no, just don't see how he would fit into the storyline.
