For some reason, i think this is going to be big. You heard it from me first. He isn't going to be a great champion or anything, but i think he will be VERY over.

I really see this getting over big. In my opinion this face turn is long overdue. Team him with Val Venis or something. Val comes to the ring with hott chick, Khali comes with ugly ones. Kinda the the Fat Chick Thrilla Mike Awesome.

Pretty much the best thing they could do with him. He's gigantic, yeah, but he's been beaten by everyone so for right now that leaves "hilariously large."

He could get over big as a face. He needs Rey as a tag partner though, to make it seem like he has a heart of gold. When Rey gets beat up, he can always be to the rescue, and Rey can be his only friend in a world that uses him.

It's a great formula. Think Kane and X-Pac

I saw this coming back when Khali debuted, and here's why...

Remember when The Big Show guest starred on SNL with The Rock, Foley, and Triple H? Everyone was surprised at how funny he could be. Soon after that, we saw things like Showster and some goofy dances.

Khali is funny in movies just because of his presence. Watching him play Ping Pong in the Longest Yard was just flat out hilarious. I won't spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen "Get Smart" yet, but he was funny in that movie too.

I think he's going to be very over and entertaining, however; this means that he will be used to put over guys half his size.

There has been a "Turn Khali Face" bandwagon going for about a year and a half, now.

I wasn't sold on it until I saw "Get Smart." He was the best part of the movie, to me.

Rey Mysterio and Khali can make a cool tag team. Though I fear Khali wrestle again.

All he would have to do is

a. come in.
b. power move.
c. power move.
d. brain chop into 619 position
e. tag Mysterio for the finish.

I think he can pull that off without much difficulty.

I have been behind a Khali face turn for the longest time. As a heel, I just find him boring; but as a face, it'd be so easy to get behind his wacky ways. The guy is also genuinely nice -- I don't really feel like booing him. With a face tag team partner, he can very easily play the guy who comes in and cleans house. And yes, it will be over.

(I made a topic on him teaming up with some small guy as a face who saves the match at the end from the weaker guy long ago)

Maybe it's time to start the Hindu World Order now? Heyman needs to write a topic on this.

Yay. He's very big in India, where all our positions as wrestling fans will soon be outsourced.

I've been telling anybody that'll listen that Khali as a comedy face could get over bigtime. Now that I've said it in a public forum, it'll probably bomb or he'll turn heel next week or whatever but yeah, entertaining

Comedy face is about the easiest thing to do outside of foreigner heel.

I really can't stand him either way. So I'm saying Nay. This kiss cam is just a waste of time to me.

Kiss cam is fucking retarded. I was there live for it on Tuesday night's tapings. So stupid. People were screaming "Shut up and wrestle!"

Also, Khali's head, when viewed from a side profile, is shaped like a banana.

I remember they teased him doing a face turn a while back but then suddenly turned back as a heel (they did this with Umaga too). I like the idea of him as a face but I hate the kiss cam. Seriously cringe worthy shit when someone walks into the room man...

You're watching professional wrestling. Anything more than Steve Austin drinking a beer in a normal fashion is going to look stupid to a non-fan.

I remember watching the Kane/HHH Katie Vick angle at my aunt and uncle's house. They were like "wow, what the fuck are you watching?"
