View Full Version : Best Theme Music (2000 - Present)
It's probably been done a bunch of times, but I haven't seen it in awhile.
Best theme music in WCW, WWF/E and TNA in the past 8 years.
I'm going to go with CM Punk. His song fits him really well, it has a great opening bit that is quickly recognizable, and I've been listening to it a lot lately.

I'd probably have to say Chris Benoit's them by Our Lady Peace. I just thought it was perfect. It could come out of nowhere, it wasn't just some generic theme put together on a mixing board etc.
But I really liked Beth Phoenix's first theme song.

CM Punk's song is horrible. For the first 30 seconds it just sounds like a bunch of indescribable and random sounds. If they used the part that actually had words it would probably be better. But usually it gets to that part right when he gets to the ring and the music stops.
Best...
Some that stand out are Christian's last theme with the violin intro, and the Evolution music.
And Simon Dean.
Yeah what CM Punk's theme song is dreadful.
As for the best theme song since 2000, probably Triple H's The Game. It's powerful, it's distinguishable, and it fits his character rather well.

I love Randy Orton's new theme by Rev Theory. It doesn't necessarily mesh well with his entrance, but it is a damn good song. Evolution's theme is still probably the best. It transcends wrestling as a great song.

-The Rock's "Hollywood theme" (when he faced Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 19).
-Chris Jericho's "King of my world" theme from the WWE Anthology CD(s).
-Randy Orton's Evolution theme (not the final edition of the 'Evolution' theme, but the one Randy used when he FIRST joined Evolution. There's a difference).
-Triple H's "King of Kings" theme music.
-Big Show's theme from "WWE Recklessness"
-Randy Orton's "Burning in My Light Theme."
-Christian's "Close your eyes" theme.
-Randy Orton's "Voices" theme.

My Time can't be beaten IMO, which is an amazing accomplishment as I'm not usually the biggest fan of wrestling themes with lyrics.
I liked Austin's 2nd Alliance theme, too, though.

APA - Just back when they were doing the whole protection thing, the intro would hit in the middle of a match or something for them to do 'business'
Undertakers Ministry theme, and the one he had just before it. Sounds pretty simaler. Can't decide which I prefer though.

Chris Benoit's final one. Probably the best combination of theme and character ever.
I hate all of TNA's themes but Abyss's I can deal with.
I'm really digging Jack Swagger's theme.
