Just watched Uncle Buck, can't remember how long ago I last watched it but watching it again it seemed like a movie that I hadn't seen before and I was laughing my head off at certain points. It makes me want to watch some other movies I haven't seen in like 10-15 years like Batteries not Included and Masters of the Universe.

It was sad that at the end of Uncle Buck. You laugh your head off then at the end it finishes on a freeze frame of John Candy and then you remember 'oh yeah, he's dead'.

One of the greats. :'( John Candy was the man, and mad underappreciated.

I don't think he's underappreciated at all. Pretty much everyone loves and respects the guy's work.

I'm going to watch Independence Day in blu ray tonight. I watched Armageddon the other night.

It's part of a friend and mine's mission to watch all of the shitty mid 90s disaster movies this winter break, and pick them apart for our own amusement.
Most of them are free on demand.

Although Independence Day is easily the most quality of the bunch. Deep Impact was the hardest I've laughed yet. Armageddon is just unbearable.

I can't stand when a bad movie is just flat out bad, but not bad enough to laugh at.

Saw Shawshank Redemption again a few days ago. Haven't seen that for a few years. Was awesome.

The scene with Brooks is depressing.
