The next edition of Speculate the Relationship is no laughing matter, even though we bring you a couple of clowns. As you recall, Doink was an evil clown, and like most clowns, probably on the path to Hell. But then Santa Claus intervened by bringing him a midget and the rest is history.

Just how did Dink cause Doink to change his evil ways? What happened to Pink and Wink? Where is Doink now, Heaven or Hell? Were they somehow related? Only you can...

It kind of seems like Santa was trying to pawn off a retarded elf on poor Doink.

Only because the retarded elf had some modicum of wrestling skill. I think Dink could take Hornswoggle, for the record.

Actually, an evil Doink and Dink versus Finlay and Hornswoggle feud would be epic.

Okay, I've got it. Santa pawns off an "undesirable" elf onto Doink since Doink has been good all year. But it turns out the little guy has a funny habit of running around biting people on the ass and getting into all kinds of trouble. It didn't play well in the North Pole, but in the WWF he's actually working out well and nobody can tell he's mildly retarded. Santa takes note and drops off Pink and Wink. At first it's great. Clowns R Us is rolling, Doink has a posse of midgets for his Lincoln Clown Car, he's on his way to the top. But then he gets beat by Jerry Lawler and his Royal midgets, and in his anger, kills Pink and Wink. He almost kills Dink and completes the backstage heel change, but he passes out from having chugged the bottle of whiskey. Meanwhile, Dink cleans off the blood and burns the bodies of his former teammates.

Doink and Dink continue to team together, but it just isn't the same. Dink is aware that "evil Doink" still lurks somewhere inside Doink, but he has no other options in the way of employment (he's been mailing checks up to his wife in the North Pole) so he continues to make his appearances with Doink. Eventually Doink is fired and is consumed by rage and a bottle of whiskey and he goes ahead and kills Dink, thus, in all subsequent WWE appearances there is no Dink.
