So I've got no idea how Marc's name came up for these Yay or Nay posts but for those who remember him what did you think of the "Marvelous Wildman" Marc Mero? I dont know much about his "Johnny B Badd" days but he was a former WCW TV champion durring that time. I remember when he came into the WWE as the Wildman Marc Mero with Sable, he use to use Sable as a distraction to win matches but was still cheered by the fans. Then he changed his name to the Marvelous one, shaved his head, grew his beard out and became a full blown heel that was jelous of the fact that Sable was much more popular than him. I think he won the Intercontenental championship once and was one of the last members of team USA durring that USA Vs Canada match at survivor series. I think he spent some time in WCW and TNA under his Johnny B Badd name again but I dont remember too much of it. I always thought he was entertaining in ring with his boxing jabs, the top rope reverse jump moonsault, The Wild Thang (shooting star press), and the TKO is still one of my favorite finishers. I will say Yay to Marc and the fact that Sable was with him dosent hurt.

The only part of him I really liked. Didn't care much for him otherwise...I guess I'll give him a "MEH".

I thought he was great. He was better as Marvelous Marc than The Wildman. But overall, he had great ring skills. Not great on the mic, but that really didnt matter IMO.

You should rename the poll YEH or GAY. Marc Mero gets the vote of GAY.

I liked Johnny B Badd (some of my earliest WCW memories probably). Wildman Marc Mero had a decent moveset, but the charater was pretty shitty, and Marc Mero heel I really don't remember as anything more than the angle with being jealous of Sable and that's it. They tossed Wildman the IC title, but they tossed Ahmed Johnson the IC belt back then so that's a wash. I can't go more than meh. Good in the ring, but just didn't have the IT.

I voted yay for a Brian Pillman/Marc Mero match I barely remember.

I said yay, and it's weird, because I was just thinking about him this morning (no clue why) and how he should be the topic of this very thread. So weird.

Anyway, he was a great face as Johnny B. Badd, a shitty face as "Wildman" Marc Mero, and a pretty decent heel as "Marvelous" Marc Mero. Plus, he brought us Sable, a bad ass theme, and a sick finisher in the TKO. Totally passable in the ring.

Took a break from watching wrestling during the Marvelous Era.

Wait..fuck not that time. I took a break right after Brock Lesnar debuted. I remember the Marvelous Era. I'm thinking of TKO Marc Mero.
