So while watching the title vs title matches they have been having do you think that the Colons and Miz and Morrison the two best/ most entertaining teams in the WE today? Also, is it just be but is the tag team division a little on the empty side right now?

Jeritron

Yes, and they should be having a match at mania

Fuck the Colons the Miz and Morrison are the best tag team period on WWE programming.

So yeah deal with Miz and Morrison might as well take there belts so then they can truly be the greatest tag team ever.

I do not like the Colons and find them annoying to listen to and to a smaller extent look at.

I think you're forgetting about Jesse and Festus.

Cryme Tyme but the will most like be gone again soon. Hell Yeah can't wait....

They are definitely the best and they work very well together, but it's a pretty thin pool right now. Here's who I can think of as active tag teams:

The In Crowd
The Colons
Cryme Tyme
Jesse & Festus
Priceless
The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson

.....uhhhh....maybe CM Punk & Kofi Kingston? Possibly Kane and Mike Knox? Pretty sad state of affairs.

Do Hawkins and Ryder still exist?

Volare

Ah hell just throw Cole and Lawler together...that might actually be pretty funny. I could see them doing commentary and then, "Coming up next, we defend the Tag Team Titles against (so and so) live on RAW!" and watch Lawler cut a promo before the head to the ring.

Miz and Morrison are the best tag team in the WWE today. The Colons are the second best only because someone techincally has to be.

Miz and Morrison have been the best all-around tag team in a very long time. I'm trying to think of who has been better than them in recent memory. New Age Outlaws? Outsiders? Bulldog & Owen? Anything more recent?

The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. Maybe the Dudleys, but they just always had enough talent to piggy back on everyone else.

I wouldn't add 3d, but E &C, and the Hardy's are spot on. I totally miss the days of Tag Team Finishers...

(Small side note) Is it just me or does "Brother Ray" look stranger and stranger every time you see him?

There are no big tag team fueds any more either. After the Dudleys left, it all went to hell. Miz and Morrison show up on every show so the "top" tag team for that show can come out and get beat.

He gets bigger and bigger. That guy honestly looks like his muscles might explode. He's borderline inflated. Everytime his pyro goes off I think a human Hindenburg is going to take place.

I don't think it's rash or premature to call Miz and Morrison the best televised tag team in the past 5 years, at the very least.

Cactus Jack 54

I don't know if I can say the very best in the past 5 years but I can't really think of anyone else...that's upsetting.

Krimzon7
03-11-2009, 04:39 PM
That is accurate Tron. I would love to see Santino paired with Koslov...They have similar styles. I would also have marked for an Umaga/Manu tag team. I could do this all day:

ok, actually I cant those are some good ideas so far!

They just need Estrada as a manager.

A, yes, I've seen their matches, and I'm not impressed. B, my post was continuing with "as", meaning they're not AS talented as the Guerreros. Argue that, why dontcha?

If Paul London & Brian Kendrick were kept around as a tag team, I'd like to have seen them get involved in this stuff with John Morrison & The Miz and The Colons. London & Kendrick were a really good team that were appreciated by the WWE, but never appreciated enough to be really made to work.

FCW has some guys that could be called up to the WWE, and put in some tag teams that could be fun. DH Smith teaming with Tyson Kidd is something I'd still like to see. Jamie Noble & Jimmy Wang Yang could be paired up together, only this time with Yang pretending to be a cowboy and not with Noble pretending to be an Asian.

Believe it or not, I think I'd like to see the tag team scene located to SmackDown!. There just aren't enough teams for two tag divisions right now. Some of the "teams" filling them would be better off split. For example, I think Jesse & Festus could do more good as singles guys than tag guys, right now. Jesse seems seriously talented, and is a second generation guy, but he's stuck in the tandem.

Also, if they're not going to shit with Cryme Tyme, they might as well get off the pot and try doing something else with them.

Oddly enough the first team I thought of was MNM.

Just got done watching this week's Smackdown. First one I've watched in about 6 weeks or so.

Gotta agree that the Colons and Miz/Morrison are at the top of the tag division. Although, that really isn't saying much given the lack of depth in current tag teams. But the match they aired last night was really good. Very fast paced match with minimal amounts of downtime (a sprint, if you will).

It'd really be great to see these teams have a Double Titles match at Mania (I'd rather see the winner come out as both champions instead of a unification match) but I won't hold my breath.

Mr. Nerfect
03-14-2009, 09:06 PM
Yeah, I don't want to see one set of champions for both brands. I'd rather see a prototype idea where one team holds both sets of belts and defends each separately.

Look Nobody was even thinking about the Colons before this fued got started it was non stop Miz and Morrison talk. You know why Noone was talking about them before this fued. Because they suck plain simple. Carlito is the better of the two and his little brother just lives in his shadow. If Primo does not have Carlito then he would be nothing. This is why the belt should be taken off of them. Then like i said if Miz and Morrison won the titles they could almost amke those belts mean something. The Colons are about are about as memorable as the last WWE tag team champions. YOu know Edge 1 and Edge 2 and look where they are?
