Much in the same vein as Rate the wrestler, better wrestler or rate the tag team, I'm thinking of doing something like Rate the Wrestling moments.

Basically, would take a well known piece of wrestling history and give some background, pics and videos (if available) and ask for marks out of ten and then rank them, on a weekly basis. So for example, Eddie Guerrero's huge title win over Lesnar and would mark it as such;

Shock Value: How shocking was the outcome, (1 is "you called it from the beginning", 10 is "TOTAL SWERVE")
Reaction: What reaction did you have to this personally (1 is "YAWN", 10 is "OMFG...I LOVED IT!")
Memory: Is it one of the first things you think of when asked about wrestling? How etched into your wrestling history is this event (1 is "who did what now?" and 10 is "are you kidding, I watch repeats on Youtube every week)

And then average your score out.

Would anyone be interested in doing this? And has anyone got any other suggestions?

Also, would take suggestions on what Wrestling Moment to mark first.

I think this could bring up some interesting conversations, and raise some good memories and reminsicing.

Why not? Wrestling discsussion forum can always use more actual wrestling discussion.

It sounds better than the average thread. Go for it.

And right off the top, we have a good one! That Iron Man match was so epic that it was ridiculous. I've said it before, but this ME was the reason I went from wrestling watcher to wrestling lover! And my favorite spot was the SCM to the guy in the chair!

Right, I'm going to go with the Shawn Michaels realising his boyhood dream moment, and I think afterwards, I might go with Edge cashing in his MiTB shot...later tonight, I'll have Rate the Wrestling Moment #1 up.

in the meantime, if anyone has any ideas on how to improve on the scoring system, please feel free to make suggestions.

Edge cashing in MITB the first time was great as well.... I marked out so bad as I had been an Edge fan since the very beginning and had no idea it was going to happen... it might be my favourite moment in the past 5 years (except for maybe HBK/Flair at WM last year)

It won't be confined to WWE...any WCW moments or ECW, even Japanese moments.

Even TNA...if anybody can think of any big moments.

The Impact Zone chanting "thank you Jill" after a video package played.... it was very touching as the majority of them probably only knew her as Jeff Jarrett's wife
