Anyone picking one up? It's $30 more in Canada so I might have to wait. My touch screen on my DS Lite is a little off on half of the screen so I kind of need to either get it fixed or get a DSi and use my Lite for GBA games.

I have 2 preordered for eBay purposes only. I will not get one until my Lite breaks and there is a working CycloDS.

I'm content with my Lite for now.

Waiting to see if there's any good shit on the Nintendo Store or whatever it's called for it. I think I'm sticking with my lite.

I'll need a new DS eventually so I guess I'll snag it someday.

Not really.
Looks cool but can't really afford it...rather it does not impress me enough to justify spending the money towards it.

fuck it. I still have my original phat. When the fucker dies, I'll upgrade to a Lite. By the time that dies, Nintendo will be up to 6 screens.

And they'll still be innovative, because "nobody ever thought of building a system with six screens before!"

I like the Lite. I was an early adopter, something I'm unlikely to be with a Nintendo system in the future, but when the Lite came out, I gladly traded up. But now, this has pretty much all I need in a portable.

My phat is invincible the amount of shit it's been through, that's why I'm sticking with it.

And the SD card slot will be replaced with a toaster oven.

And the SD card slot will be replaced with a toaster oven.

And Nintendo will sell proprietary attachments that require the toaster oven (Bundled with ToasteD Slice: Feel the heat, no less), only to drop it for a biometric scanning device.

I wasn't going to buy it, but my trusty old DS is looking pretty beat up, and I'm gonna get a bit of spare change coming in soon, so I'll probably buy it now.

My girlfriend and I both bought one yesterday. I played Chinatown Wars, but all my character did was stand there and hail a cab (you hail a cab by making a noise into the mic). There was absolutely no sound in my room when I tried. I tried on hers and it worked fine. Arg.

You might wanna exchange it for a properly working one. Probably has a sensitivity issue with the mic.

I'm going to exchange it.

I'm happy with my original.

There's no way in hell I would get rid of my lite just for a camera and a few other things. Now if they were going to make a DS that was more left handed friendly, I'd be all about buying a new one.

I never had the original, and my lite is fine. Really don't see any reason to upgrade ATM.

Not a fan of the DSI. I can't get Wario Ware to work on it, the case has a rougher texture, and the web browser for the DS Lite works a hell of a lot faster. The DSI store is a nice idea, but the excution of it falls somewhere between m'eh and Fail.
